Pmta1 got a reaction from zrdn2019 in Visibility into K-1 entrances to US?
The DHS has got a bunch of statistics https://www.dhs.gov/immigration-statistics/yearbook/2018/table25.
They have total entries per year for K visas. They even have to which cities or states K visa holders enter through (if interested, you'd have to download the DHS's excel spreadsheet).
But the information you're asking about daily entries is not available.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Greenbaum in Issues moving due to Coronavirus
That's a legitimate concern. But right now, no one will have an answer. You've got time until the July date so you're not in the worst situation possible. Hopefully the travel restrictions will be lifted by then. Some believe you should travel to the UK for 14+ days before you travel to the US. It's not reason to panic but perhaps you should think about traveling to the US sooner than later.

Pmta1 got a reaction from DanMeirian in Bringing fiance's kids
If your children attended the K visa interview and were approved, then yes, the K2 visas are probably valid for 6 months. Just look at their printed visas and see the expiration dates. Once the K2 visa is issued, you cannot opt for the follow to join. You will have to use the K2 visa within its validity period

Pmta1 got a reaction from noypi321 in Immediate Insurance Options for K1 (Upon/Shortly After Arrival)?
I guess the solution would be to get married as soon as possible (officially courthouse, at least) and apply for the insurance. If you want to do a bigger celebration or party, you can do it as planned afterwards. But for the sake of getting his health insurance, there's no harm in marrying earlier and applying for the insurance right away.

Pmta1 got a reaction from OrihimeandIchigo in NVC asked us to schedule our interview, there are absolutely no dates available. Do I have to keep checking every day ? We are at the final stages
Yes, that's exactly what you have to do. In fact, in the past, I've suggested people check 5x daily. Many other applicants will drop out, cancel, reschedule, etc. So, it's up to you to seize the opportunity and find an open slot when it randomly shows up on traveldocs or AIS

Pmta1 got a reaction from txvl66 in I-129F dependent question
Your brother is not your child in the i-129F. But when you file the I-134, and if your family is still dependent on you by that time, you will claim them as dependents. Your household size will increase.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Becky O in Refused Visa because of Facebook choices???
Interesting story. Was his FB account listed in his DS-160 as a social media handle? or was his FB account picked out for some reason among in other social media handles?

Pmta1 got a reaction from Binbin22 in Trump's Travel Ban Mega Thread
Currently the Travel Ban countries have two options to get a visa approved (1) use a non-designated country passport (2) request a waiver after the interview. Option 1 is the best and easiest so far. Option 2 has seen a range of outcomes. I've heard unconfirmed news several additional countries may be added in the future to the Travel ban.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Patrichulaa in Apply for jobs while AOS pending
I would recommend against going to interviews. As per the USCIS manual for the I-485 AOS, the "acceptance" of unauthorized work can be considered grounds for a bar. So, I wouldn't risk it if I were you. I believe it's okay to send resumes but not go any step further before you get the EAD

Pmta1 got a reaction from Matma70 in Trump's Travel Ban Mega Thread
Yes, all already-approved visas and immigration benefits will be honored before the Feb 21st date. If he's already approved, he can still travel to the US despite any visa limitations.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Summerbrezz07 in Supporting documents for I-129F-K1 visa
No need to sign supporting evidence. The only real documents you absolutely must sign are the I-129F form and the letter of intent to marry. Supporting docx like the photos, receipts, etc. are not required to be signed.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Greenbaum in When do you do the medical exam?
You will need to have a case # before you go to the medical exam. The physicians need your case # to write into the forms that they'll seal for you. You will have to wait until the NVC gives you a case #, if they haven't already.

You won't need to translate. Just give the Employer's name as best as possible in English Transliteration and you should be fine.

Pmta1 got a reaction from AH&TN in US petitioner birth certificate for K1 interview?
a lot of times the US Embassy posts very generic requirements on their website about what to bring. Other times they merge the spousal visa and K-1 visa instructions together to save themselves the trouble. But it gets confusing sometimes. The birth certificate for the petitioner isn't required for the K visa interview.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Crazy Cat in Employment Authorization after arriving into US under K1 visa.
technically you're allowed to file for work authorization immediately, however, there are several reasons why you'd want to avoid that. First, the payment fee. Secondly, the processing time will cut down from the 90 days until expiration. Finally, it will expire in 90 days and you'll be unable to work (potentially fired from the position because you cannot work there anymore) until your EAD/AP card shows up. It's best to get an EAD/AP after marriage and with the I-485

Pmta1 got a reaction from LizBogdan in I-134 Form question
If you're above poverty limits (which you say you're above 125%) then you don't have to disclose assets or property. Only list your income and you'll be eligible to be a sponsor. But of course, you're welcome to include the additional information but it'll go unnoticed especially if your tax returns show ample income.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Ieeeeeees in RFE and I-129F
It won't matter. The US Embassy should have the updated copy from the USCIS once your case is approved. But just for your sake, you should check the box and bring it to the interview as a backup I-129F.

Pmta1 got a reaction from MKJ119 in Divorce Certificate vs Divorce Decree
Sounds to me like it's the same thing. There might be subtle differences, but either of the "certificate" or "decree" are usable in the I-129F petition as proof of divorce.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Kidayi in W-2 doesn't meet the criteria
If your last years' tax returns don't show the full amount of the salary because your partner started working partway through the year, you will have to find alternative methods to demonstrate that you two meet the 125% limits. As per FAM rules, you can show employment verification letters, pay stubs, etc. to show that you're actively employed and earning xx salary.

Pmta1 got a reaction from eirinlinn in RFE intent to marry help pls
I've never experienced the USCIS asking for more than just the letter of intent to marry. My gut feeling is they misplaced the original letter. Perhaps you could rewrite the same letter, add more details like how you plan to get married once your fiance arrives in the US, etc. etc. and sign/date.
-
Pmta1 got a reaction from eirinlinn in Where can I include a previous sponsorship of my ex on the I-129F when I filed a I-130 for him in the past?
No, the I-130 is not part of the multiple filer concept for the I-129F. The only time you'll have to disclose that you sponsored your ex will be in the I-134 Affidavit of Support where it asks about "previous petitions" or "previous sponsorship". For now, you won't have to list your ex as sponsorship. You will list your ex on the "previous marriage" section.

Pmta1 got a reaction from GlizNov in RFE number 2...
I guess they weren't satisfied with your first explanation and RFE, so they asked again. It's remarkable, I don't think I've ever seen someone lucky enough to get a second RFE for the same issue. Most of the time, they won't give you that luxury and just send you a denial notice. Has anyone else seen a second RFE for the same issue?
But to answer your question, I think you have exactly what they're looking for. Good luck

Pmta1 got a reaction from SmallTownPA in I-129F Part 2 Page 7 Question 39
You can put n/a for the entries that don't apply. For question 43, leave it blank because neither answer is correct.

Pmta1 got a reaction from Lisa Pr in DS160 change of job
You're required to provide the most up-to-date information during the interview. So, like how the other helpful member said, bring the updated forms for the I-134 to the interview. If asked about the working situation for your fiance, you can divulge the details with supporting evidence. I doubt you will be asked to fill out another, fresh DS-160 as it's already been used to link with the interview. But, play it by ear at the interview.
