You can put n/a for the entries that don't apply. For question 43, leave it blank because neither answer is correct.

I learned the hard way, I hope YOU don't have to. Advice: learn, learn, learn.

When working on page 7 Question 39. Does you Beneficiary have any children?  No is the answer in our case.  For question 43. Should we also put No and placed N/A in all the fields?

Read the statement just below question 39 ....     💡      Only complete the rest IF you answer YES.

If you read the form it states to only complete the additional questions IF the answer to question 39 is YES .    So you leave the rest blank.

This is incorrect.

The instructions state:

If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed.

Having a kid would not apply to you, so you would print N/A (Not Applicable).

No box should be blank or empty.  Even the parts are interpreter/lawyer/etc should be N/A'd.  No where on the form does it say to SKIP a question, or NOT ANSWER it.

A perfect example of how you are wrong is question 34.  If they don't have a previous spouse, you don't leave 35a-36 BLANK, you N/A them.

Complete the entire form.

If a question does not apply, you still need to respond. Write “N/A” (not applicable) instead of leaving the space blank. For example, if you are asked “What is your current spouse’s nationality,” but you do not have a spouse, you should answer “N/A” because the question does not apply to your situation.
