No update on Noa2. Due to the transfer we are expecting it to take some time
However we decided ...... I'm going back to the US in Feb for 4 weeks!!! I'm going to see My partner!!!
My esta is still valid. I'll take a letter from my employer and one from my mother just in case and hopefully that will be all I need.
Cant wait any longer. And we have decided lots of photos this time lol and to enjoy. Right up until the last day which I'm sure most of you know that will be hard!!

Embassy received our stuff a couple weeks ago but we decided since my man wants to spend Christmas with his family we would wait till closer to holidays for the interview so we aren't rushing with the medical. The big interview is December 16th . UK embassy didn't send us p3 just a email from nvc. I really wanted to spend Christmas with him but at same point hes the one whoose going to have to adapt to so many new things so I'm just sitting here patient and full of support and love. And anxiety. But mostly love. Hope those waiting for Noa2 get it next week . I check this forum a couple times a week still hoping to see more good news .
Such a wonderful attitude. There will be many christmases (is that a word!!) Shared together very soon for you both!! Congrats on the interview stage

Glad I could lighten up the mood for you for a split second!
I don’t think calling does much, but it gives me something to look forward to every week. I’ve called every Friday the past 5 or so weeks. Just get the same ol’ “you’re still in the normal process waiting period.” Although this past week the guy was a bit more friendly and empathetic towards me. He had a “what the heck why are u not approved yet” attitude and gave me a sincere cheer up pep talk. He said he doesn’t see any red flags on my file and he doesn’t understand why I haven’t heard anything yet, but unfortunately nothing he can do at this point in time.
I realize though that I am not special enough for the government to owe me anything in a timely fashion lol so I just keep waiting! That’s all I can do I suppose. This website is great, but also gets me pretty down. So been laying low for a while. I hope you are hanging in there !!
That was really nice of the guy. I understand the laying low. Good news is coming your way and before you know it the wait will be over. Thanks for checking in and sharing. I really do enjoy hearing how you are going.

Me too dale, me too. It’s rough seeing people get k1 visa approvals in our June group and we haven’t even gotten our NOA2’s. Our applications must have gotten stuck on old mate Stan’s desk who likes to chit chat to Nancy in the next cubicle about conspiracy theories🤣
Thank you for the laugh!!!
Have you thought about giving them a call?

I know it's tough when everyone has gone on from your group, but the wait will be worth it. Trust me I have been there you just have to hang on and believe in your relationship.
Thank you Sarge. I am super happy for everyone moving on and I have total faith in the relationship. Just wanted to bump this up for those still waiting. For them to know they are not alone

Always disclose. As others have said, sealed expunged or 100 years old it doesnt matter. There is a strong chance it will be transferred to vermont for deeper further checks I can speak from experience on that. But you may get lucky
There is always a chance for visa denial at any stage, regardless of criminal record or not. Just be honest and cross your fingers.
Good luck

I didn't want to post anything until my fiancé gets the hard copy... but I checked yesterday (11/21), and according to the old website, we got approved on 11/19! Finally!!! 146 days from received date. New website hasn't updated yet though.
Makes me anxious waiting for the NOA2 hard copy, but I'm claiming it 😂
This was fantastic to read!! Super happy for you. Congrats

An observation. When I looked today, most of the most recent, fastest, approvals were for citizens of the UK. Maybe if you are from a Visa Waiver country they grant Fiancé Visas more quickly. (?)
Unfortunately no

I called the USCIS and apparently we got approved yesterday (5th) ! 💜💜
O_O
No updates to either site.
Noa1: 08/02
Noa2: 11/05
I'm totally shocked I really thought we were going to have to wait 130 days or something.
I wonder if the way you compile and organise the application affects the approval time?
I two hole punched, front loaded, two hole clipped, binder clipped and then labeled each section on the bottom.
Congrats.
No the way you compile and organize the application doesnt matter. They get to each one when they get to them

Are there any updates on yours?
I hope that you get your Approval Notice soon too!
No updates here. Not really expecting any for some time but thank you. It's the busy season at work so I am throwing myself into work and messaging my SO when I can.

I know. I’m mostly just venting as well.
Sometimes you just have to get it out. I'm sure May and June filers feel the same when the new month approvals roll out.
I sincerely hope you get your Noa2 very soon.

Here is what I've seen
Some get lucky when they call most dont
Some get lucky via apps most dont
Some get lucky via website most dont
Most get lucky via mail.
Some get response within 100 days some within 120 days some within 200 days.
There is nothing we can do to speed up the process.
So we all have to take the seat on the waiting train and see which stop we get off at.
None of this is easy. And it is always going to change. So the best plan is get comfy in your seat, enjoy the ride and the moments you have with your SO. Get up, go to work, spend time with family and friends, keep busy. The train will stop at your stop regardless.
And yes I'm aware the train has ran over alot of peoples patience but that's when you look back on the memories. Everything that has got you where you are right now and what the future holds.

But don't give up, maybe a trip to spend time with each other would be good, but watch out for those airport goodbyes, they hurt so bad!!!
It would be good to spend some time together however long term the money will be better for health insurance. Will look into it some more.
Ah yes airport goodbyes heartbreaking and very difficult

Vermont is usually where they send the more difficult cases, in other words more deep background checks that's why they are slower. Your case will stay there until approved or action is taken.
Thank you. We kinda figured this wouldnt be a walk in the park but wasnt expected this turn. I'm now looking into flights for Jan to spend some time together.
