Hi everyone,
I just wanted to stop in and thank everyone for their positivity, well wishes and good thoughts. It really means alot to us.
Today marks our 15th month of waiting for Noa2. There has been no change. Two 'outside normal processing times' requests.
We are together, we are still fighting, although the damn time zones could shift a little!!!
I hope you are all well and staying safe
Thank you again

Ohhhh okay. So I can still make the packet and mail it in to the Embassy to start the process? I was thinking I couldn't even start to apply yet. I really want to get this started because I think the wait will be quite long. Especially since the virus started.
No you mail it to USCIS

We applied in June 2019, and are still waiting. All we can do is wait

We were waiting for the visa after the interview, and the consulate stopped working.
That has been 4 months and my fiance's passport is still at the consulate.
I don't know how much my patience can go on. 😥
At least you are that much closer to being together

Does the USCIS ever send out notifications via email? Almost everyone in this thread received theirs via text. But for me, since I live out of the country, I only provided my email address, and haven't received an email yet. My CC was charged for $535 on June 24th.
If they took your money you are good. It does take a couple of weeks to receive the Noa1 in the mail

This was posted on the NZ embassy page
As of June 22, 2020, most immigrant visa categories (with the exception of IR-1, IR-2, CR-1, and CR-2), as well as the nonimmigrant visa categories H-1B, H-2B, L, and several J visa categories (au pair, intern, trainee, teacher, camp counselor, and summer work travel), are suspended through December 31, 2020

I understand Dale, Just trying to be of help...how are you holding up inbetween?
Just getting thru each day, working etc. We hit a rough spot a couple weeks ago but it's getting better now. Just wishing we had some kind of date to finish this.
Funny thing, I told my mum I'd be out of her place by Christmas.....opps!!!

Dale has defined patience in a way I have never seen before.... @Dale I was going to ask why not get married and move on to CR1?
Hey Sparkle. Why not get married and do the CR1 ....because I would need the same patience and the same wait times. We are already so far into this having to start from the beginning seems well just no

Noa2 can take from 5 months to more. Each case is different. I'm at almost 13 months of waiting

Sorry if you’ve already answered this, but have you submitted an outside normal processing time case inquiry with the USCIS? If so, did you get any sort of response?
I have. Petition hold due to awaiting security checks. Normal Processing times apparently do not apply

@Ama🖤Kwaku @Treasure1 thank you guys so much. My fiance broke down yesterday, he is really struggling and there is only so much I can do 8455 miles away. It really is not easy.
But...still no Noa2. It has been 1 year and 6 days since our Noa1.

@Dale So sorry about the awfully long wait. Did you do a case inquiry? If yes, what was the outcome?
It is within normal processing time

Any word or progress on your case @Dale.
You are a trooper, but you are right all you can do is hang onto your dreams till they appear.
@Sarge2155 No word or progress. Processing time is up to 16 - 21 months so we have another 150 days plus.
I was only trying to help anyone feeling disheartened or discouraged. I know my partner and I go thru times of that. It's not easy but strength, patience and communication does help

Hello everyone,
I am an early December K-1 filer and I still haven't heard back from USCIS for our NOA 2, which is making me feel a little discouraged. I am wondering if this long wait (148 days now) is normal or it's because the health emergency we are in now. I have also come to the point of wondering if it's possible that for some strange reason the application was lost or set aside accidentally. Everyday I hope it's the day I hear some good news!
A little from column a it is normal and a little from column b the health emergency. Today is our 334 day of waiting. All the best things take time. You will get a response soon. Try and take your mind off it. It will come

My K1 visa application was received by the government on November 15th. My case status still reads as "Your case has been received". Is anyone else on the same boat of taking this long to process?
I submitted a correction to a typo in my street address. I received confirmation that the typo was fixed and a note will be left for the adjudicator to reference.
Does the file process through a different internal system if there is a typo?
EDIT: I meant to post this in the November 2019 K-1 visa topic. I am not sure how to delete this or move it to the other topic.
No it does change if there is a typo. Day 332 of waiting for Noa2 here

I have filled out two. Have been waiting since june 2019 for Noa2. I suggest you wait a couple more months. It looks like the average time is 7 to 9 months
