My wife had her interview on May 20 for her f21 visa at US Embassy in Nepal and she was approved at the interview and was given a white approval card which says approved and instruction to collect passport. The status on ceac shows Aministrative processing since then and after looking up on VJ, it sounds like normal after interview.

Now when I log in into ceac on page where we uploaded all our AOS documents and civil documents, the  AOS section shows INCOMPLETE and has 864EZ line item as missing. I already submitted the regular 864 during the NVC process and everything showed completed until after interview. They din't ask for any further documents at the interview or even after interview.

They didn't keep  any documents at the interview as well beside Medical and kept passport. All the copies of original documents, 864, tax documents and even the passport photo was returned back after interview. I was in impression that they keep copies of civil documents and the tax documents but they didn't and i am kinda confused. May be they just use the scanned copies that we uploaded during NVC??

Is it normal or did embassy mess up something ? May be that can bring impact on the admin processing ? Can anyone who recently got approved verify for me if they have similar situation ?

I had my interview on 16th May...they didn’t ask for any copies of my originals they told me they had everything on the system just checked the originals and returned them...kept my passport and the medical and today I went to pick my visa..since they didn’t ask for any other document from her side just be patient until the day she goes to collect the passport if they want anything from your side I think they will contact you...good luck

Has anyone attended the interview without their 2018 transcript? If so what other information should I take to avoid

    being delayed?

Photos are secondary and not required, many have submitted petitions without pictures and been approved. There is nothing you can do to change it, anyway. I have a friend whose husband is from Syria and she sent only the required documentation and nothing else. No pictures or any other type of secondary evidence such as email and texts and her husband's petition was approved with no rfe. I'm not saying you should not send any secondary evidence, you should especially going through Pakistan, just send everything you have.

Me too only sent our passport photos and marriage certificate with the petition and was approved and now waiting for my interview on 16th this month

Do I have to call for my interview date?
NVC has improved greatly since March. The interview letter now comes day of schedule. So call if you want its up to you.

what does this mean ? lol sorry

so they will mail interview letter the day it is schedule  ? no advance notice ?

Didn’t call for the interview date...After the nvc sent me the email that our case was documentarily qualified ( on 14th March) we waited for sometime and on 12th April they sent me an interview date with instructions and the same day our case was already at the embassy i dont know the waiting time at your embassy but it depends with the embassy some have to wait from three months or longer to get the IL..Good luck

Update: my husband had his interview this morning in Dakar, Senegal and his visa was APPROVED! He has to go back next Tuesday to pick up his visa. The interview was quick & easy, the CO just asked him about how we met and if our families were both at our wedding. His interview was at 7am, but he arrived at 6am so he was the first interview of the day - he was back home by 9am with the approval!

Am happy for you my interview is on 16th May at 7.30 my embassy is Tanzania i think i will be the first one to get the interview at that day am super nervous and excited☺

Good luck to everyone who are having their interviews tomorrow
