in Taiwan, the AIT allows you to adjust interview date for a limited number of times. if you were to change it for too many times, there would be some extra charges.

Finally we got approval after 11 months wait  thanks every one for your helps and support,  - what are the next steps?

My Lord.... it turn out to be the NVC notification. it was sent out on 6th August, and only arrived yesterday in mail. one week after i picked up my visa and passport already.
well~ now you guys know! interview can be booked and visa could be approved without the actual NVC notice 🤦‍♀️

I hired an immigration attorney, also because my fiance is busy with work and thought hiring someone to do so would be easier
and guess what? you still need to gather every documents by urself
the only thing the attorney, and her legal assistant, does is to ask more details of everything ( more pic for proof of relation, more details for financial support)
we did had our application approved in one go, thanks to the attorney (maybe)
but before that, my fiance had to stop by their office almost every week, to drop off more file they found needed. and when they finally decided they had everything, they ask if we want to use express service or USPS.  
we paid over 2000 for the attorney, and the fee doesnt cover delivery fee! 

I knew the result would take 2 weeks, so i booked one in 16 days. Bad timing tho... i was told at the hospital that as it was August, lots of students there to have their check done last minute before US school year started, it takes longer than usual to get the result back....
Luckily I was able to re-schedule an interview 3 days later. and after interview, it only took 3 days to have my visa ready to be collected. 
so i was able to get my discount flight ticket still~~ VERY LUCKY i would say

I got an mail from NVC today, send from Swiss. not sure if i should open it
consulted with my lawyer and she doesnt know what that is either. 
Anyone else also got one? ( passport/visa/parcel for immigration officer upon entry the US was picked up at the same time)
 

another detail, make sure your payslips are printed on company letter head. 
not sure where my fiance read about that, but i checked with our lawyer and she confirm that info
 

Just a little clarification on what happened. You actually were denied. That's how visa works, you are either denied or approved, once you appear to make the application for a visa. The denial can be overcome by fixing whatever caused it. In this case, they want those paystubs. As mentioned, the fact that they keep your passport usually means that they think this can easily be overcome when you give them whatever missing that they're asking for, and other than that, your case is approvable. 

The fact they held on to your passport is a good thing. Read the sheet you got clearly and give them the documents that they are asking for. They are asking for a specific document, what is the confusion?

done my interview on 19th. 
can you believe i even had my hair dye (back to dark colour) and cut short. just to give a better impression to the interviewer.
 
Not sure about other countries, but embassy here is Taiwan is not as scary as the rumor i must say. 
people are nice, smile, we even had a nice chat about my job while they check thru my file. 
 
tell yourself this, people on "90 days fiance" all got approved. there is no way on earth ours should get denied. 😆

We hired an attorney and I am glad that we did . We did our research and I found one that had a good reputation.  Assuming that the world of immigration is new to you( as it is to me) I wanted someone with experience and understanding of this world.
 
No- an attorney can’t make your papers move faster. But ours has been their to support us, answer our questions and give us guidance, has check in teleconferences with us and has left me at ease while we wait for this process to finish.  
 
i suggest if you choose an attorney to do your research first- not just hire the first ( or cheapest) attorney.

Had our interview yesterday on the 24th and was approved. Today for ceac it says issued.

I got my visa today!!! just pick it up and its a much heavier parcel than i thought it would be...

finally called got my case # assigned today... So ready for the shipment on Oct 1st !!!!! We are getting so close
