  1. Not yet, actually the email came just minutes before, its like this: Dear Applicant, On April 22, President Trump signed a proclamation suspending entry into the United States of certain immigrants who present risk to the U.S. labor market during the economic recovery following the COVID-19 outbreak. The proclamation is effective at 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 23 and expires in 60 days, unless continued by the President. U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and those holding valid immigrant visas on the effective date of the Proclamation, are not subject to the proclamation. No valid visas will be revoked under this Proclamation. Routine visas services have been suspended at U.S. posts worldwide, but as resources allow, embassies and consulates will continue to provide emergency and mission critical visa services for applicants who are not subject to this presidential proclamation. The full text of the presidential proclamation is available on the White House website at: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-immigrants-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-economic-recovery-following-covid-19-outbreak/.

  6. No that's not true, i have traveled twice to US with my B1/B2 visa while our petition as under process in USCIS they even did not ask me any questions about it. but for my own safety i carried both time with me my job contract and home contract just to show them in case they ask, to prove that i am not gonna stay in US i am here for holidays only and will return back as i have responsibilities there in back home.
  7. Maybe this will be helpful to many: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/21/trump-immigration-ban-halts-green-cards-not-temporary-visas.html KEY POINTS Trump said that the move would not impact those in the country on a temporary basis and would apply only to those looking for green cards in hopes of staying. An administration official familiar with the plans had said earlier the order would be focused on preventing people from winning permission to live and work in the U.S. That would include those seeking employment-based green cards and relatives of green card holders who are not citizens.
  8. Surely i will, i will wait till tomorrow before sending the email to see if some further details come out for EO. I dont want they give us useless information just to get rid of my email
  9. I am based in Dubai and i have my K1 approved visa stamped on my passport, i am unable to fly due to COVID travel restrictions, my visa is expiring end of June. Just now i have contacted the US embassy and they told me that they have not received any official information on the new ordinance, but she asked me to drop an email to support and they will get back to me if the Visa extension is possible due to the current situation. Got visa after 13 months long process and now this stupid situation... ohh God save us
