Kimi31 got a reaction from PBabz in Good Luck Everyone
    Guys
i wanted to say good luck to everyone no matter what stage you are at.
my interview is 23/9 and I will not be going as i filed for divorce last week.
after months of emotional abuse from my husband I found out the reason why he was treating me so appallingly is because he has been cheating, with someone who knows he’s married. So basically they deserve each other.
Im so glad I found out now and hadn’t given up my life, home, Job, stability and pulled our son out of school.
I’m finding it tough as this man pursued me to marry him for the second time for two years and promised us the world .
Im grieving the life I thought we would have and of course him. Although I realise it’s for the best, it will take time to get over the betrayal, lies and deceit.
thanks for the support on the posts I’ve submitted
    good luck everyone x

So sorry it all went pear shaped. Looking at your timeline...
Your interview took 600 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.

Wow. What a terrible waste of time, money, and stress.
Chin up young lady. Cheers to new, unknown adventures ahead
    You’ve got this.

Yes I think so. Is the medication name and dosage listed anywhere, like maybe added to your health care summary?  I think they will want to know what meds you take.

Kimi31 reacted to Appy in Medical - query on mental health
So on my GP summary it had “overdose” in 10 and 15 years ago. At the medical they said that I I needed a letter from my GP To confirm that I am not a danger to myself or others and am mentally stable. I just got a letter privately from my therapist to say exactly. My therapist did fluff it up but the message was there. Also went to a private psychologist who did the some tests and came to the same conclusion in a report. Both letters were accepted and my medical was submitted to the embassy.

I think yours will be okay because it’s from your GP and states what it needs to states.

Kimi31 reacted to Wuozopo in Time between medical and embassy
Yes, absolutely enough time.  After the embassy moved into the new building there was a period of time when medicals were not making it to the embassy for many interviews within the name frame stated.   Not sure if the hitch was embassy flow disorganized or if Visa Medicals quit using the courier after the move. Now the clinic sends the results electronically and two weeks suggested wait (during that time after the move)  is no longer necessary. The results should be at the embassy in 3-4 days.

I had mine 6 days before my interview. The medical team told me I could email the day before my interview to check if everything was submitted.
When I emailed the morning before they said it was in the final stages and not done, but that they’d try to push it through for me. Then they emailed again a few hours later to say it had been successfully submitted online.
I’d recommend emailing them to see if they can help get it done in time. I was emailing with a lady named Hannah V and she was really helpful.
Edit: Contact them through the email address on one of the sheets they give you. Message me and I can send you it 😊

London usually would, but the reports I’ve seen, they are requiring spouses to wait outside.
even if the embassy have had an email and put the spouse on the list to enter.

That is correct. You have to wait for the original date to pass, then pick a new date. You can delay a year. Don’t have a medical yet if you are going to delay interview.

    Hey all

I had my interview today at London.
We are DCF IR1, my wife is here on a 30 month marriage visa after arriving as a fiance.
Anyway, there was a wheeled desk thing (similar to some phone shops have) outside with two people at who I had to go and see first.  They asked for passport and DS260 confirmation.  They wrote my appointment time one the confirmation page and said theyd call me when its 15-20 minutes before my appointment (as I'd gotten there early).  My wife wasnt allowed in with me due to covid.
I went into security, had to take a swig of my water to prove it wasnt a bomb or something, but was simple enough.  It was empty leading to the main building after the airport style security.
A really friendly guy at the reception desk in the embassy asked for ds260 and stuck a sticker to it with my number, told me to go upstairs in the lift then turn left to immigration.
Btw, the lift has two sets of doors.  When you walk in, turn 180 so you dont look like a plonked when you get to floor one and have your back to the room!
From there I went to immigration. Sat down and waited for my number to be called (the sticker told me to sit by windows 20-21 for my number to show).
I went to the window when the screen told me and gave my documents to the lady. She also had me give my fingerprints and adjusted my visa type from cr1 to IR1 as we were married 2 years in may.
Then to cashier to pay the fee. They wouldnt take cash, which I brought as I was worried my paranoid bank would stop the payment as they always do when I try and buy something important (airline tickets last time).
Sat back down for all of 2 minutes and was called to another window.  Made to give an oath then asked a few questions, nothing too invasive. Then after 10 minutes with him (if that) he said all was approved and I'd receive it within 2 weeks and congratulations.
All in all, from entering the embassy to getting out, it was not even 30 minutes.  My appointment was 11:30 and call history to tell my mum was 11:46, but I did go in about 11:15.

Guys I just got my appt in london
    Sep 23rd scheduled via NVC
i Make the distinction because I requested expedite so I don’t know if London will allow it to happen sooner. So if I get an appt cancellation email from NVC I don’t panic right? Just means the expedited crossed in the processing

And don't worry about the picture they take at the medical; you'll never have to see it again. On the visa and GC they'll use the picture you hand over at the embassy.
Which is just as well, because I had just had my wisdom teeth removed when they took the picture for the medical.

Let's just say, it was not a good look. 🐿️

I used the first option  It's confusing TBH - Why Would I need to register for an appointment I already have ;l) Well it's just to set up the courier but also there other options in there but you can ignore them if you're happy with the date you have. I believe you also need to print off the registered appointment slip.

    Update on Public Charge
    Last Updated: August 7, 2020
On Wednesday, July 29, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York enjoined the Department of State from “enforcing, applying, implementing, or treating as effective” the Department’s October 2019 interim final rule and accompanying Foreign Affairs Manual guidance related to the public charge ground of visa ineligibility.  The Department is complying with the court’s order and is in the process of updating its guidance to consular officers on how to proceed under the preliminary injunction. In the interim, visa applications that appear to be ineligible under INA 212(a)(4) will be refused for administrative processing to allow for consultation with the Department, including legal review to ensure compliance with applicable court orders.  Visa applicants are not requested to take any additional steps at this time and should attend their visa interviews as scheduled.  Applicants are not required to complete nor should they present the DS-5540, Public Charge Questionnaire.
