Yay! Congratulations!  Our medical was received and signed for by the field office almost 3 weeks ago, and our online status still says "interview ready to be scheduled"  😵

Yes, unfortunately they did. I waited 6 weeks after the interview for them to find it like the guy said he would try to do and then I got an RFE letter requesting I redo it or send my old results. I spoke to London and that’s not possible so I’m trying to schedule a new one. Just haven’t been able to get hold of anyone so far! 🤷🏽‍♀️
i am glad you were able to do it all without problems. Apparently it is becoming more common that the medical are misfiled or lost but occasionally they do show up. Some people on the forum have had theirs found which is positive! 🙂

There is a list of civil surgeons on USCIS's website.  Type in your zip code for local.  Call around for pricing, but be forwarned they are all rather expensive 😕  Best of luck to you as well, I keep saying chin up we're in the home stretch.

Right its generic but they send them out to people who do not have a medical in their file for whatever reason.  It gives a chance to make up for the deficiency prior to the interview rather then have someone come only to get slapped in the face.  So why do "some" get them and some not?  Doesn't make sense.  As for the vaccination records yes we had them but stupidly gave them to the interviewer and I already said our bad we should have had a copy guess in the moment we were flustered, again, shouldn't she have know we would have needed them?
 
I guess my post serves as a warning to dot your i's and cross your t's cuz even when you think everythings in order you never know.

Our status changed on Thursday, August 27th.
 
The letter arrived on Monday, August 31st.
 
Our interview is on Thursday, September 10th.

We actually just received the work permit in today's mail.  We had a strange course   We had gotten an RFIE for our i-485 response on march 20, on April 10 we were "ready to be scheduled for an interview" and today, less then a week later, we got our work permit in the mail.  I think that if there was no rhyme or reason as to how they did things before, there is even less now (but I'm not complaining lol)  Good luck!

I also got a RFIE asking for an original copy of my birth certificate and on March 23 we were "ready to be scheduled for an interview". Do you remember which office did you have to send your RFIE? Im my case, I had to send to St. Louis, MO.

I hope everyone is doing well despite of the current situation. I am happy to share the good news that my case is now ready to be scheduled for an interview! I can breathe easy I didn't have any RFE's.😅
 
I didn't check my case for a month, I think , as I literally put my AOS application at the back of my mind to prevent myself from stressing over it. Also, I've been busy with my spring cleaning, front and backyard gardening. My tulips, hyacinths and daffodils are now in their last week of bloom! Irises, pink lilies, peonies and other flowering shrubs I've forgotten the names are next to bloom. 
 
I've planted veggies, herbs and flower seedlings 6 weeks ago and they are now ready to be put in the ground. But the crazy Missouri weather is not cooperating! After springlike weather 2 weeks ago, we had cold front plus storm with heavy rains last week. And today, rain and snow is in forecast until tomorrow😓. Next week's forecast is back to sunny and up to 70's!  If it stays warmer, we are planning to clean and treat our koi pond. My husband and I are dreading it!😄
 
What have you been up to while AOSing during this stay at home order? BTW, ours have been extended through May 15th.

This is my future rose garden. There were three 20 y/o bushes in there that I had my husband uprooted and I've transplanted them at the side of our backyard garden. I've put in 6 different rose varieties (they're at the back part) and covered them with extra large planters when there's frost or freezing temp in forecast. I also planted anemones, English lavender, Iris. I will transplant my marigold and sage seedlings as soon as the soil gets warm consistently.
 

Aaaahhh great news!!! 🎉🎉🎉  We got the stimulus check too for ALL THREE OF US which was a pretty cool surprise but getting this plus your greencard interview waived is crazy good news!!!! You must be over the moon 😍 Thanks for updating your timeline too, and did I mention how much I love how we’re all rooting for each other!!? Good vibes only in the Jan2020 team

I hear you! My husband had a very promising job interview, which was cancelled because of the pandemic. I'm not sure what the new normal would be. Best of luck to you and you stay well, too!

Yeh silly me, I was so obsessed with the status of the AOS I never thought to check the status of the EAD hence my original question!  While this is all wonderful news for us, and we feel so blessed, we're just praying that we can all come safely out of our homes😷 soon and go back to some sort of normal life where we can actually utilize it!  Stay well!

Congratulations on your EAD, then! To answer your question, and I'm sure my answer is irrelevant because everything's changed with social distancing, but after that status update we got a letter with the interview appointment. It's very possible you will just see your status change to show that you've been approved and your green card will be issued. It seems they are waiving many interviews. Keep up posted!! I'm excited for you!

If you are K1, it means they approved your greencard without an interview.
