  1. Nothing on my end but just ended up looking at the online processing times and it now says my Texas Service Center/Case # is now bumped up to 16.5 months... so looks like this is going to keep going on. I have this in my bookmark. It seems like the Naturalization will come sooner before this get processed. However, gotta get stamp in some times I guess.
  2. I did not heard about this until someone posted on Youtube about she gone to get one so she can get back in the US while the Gov is processing her new greencard of a mistake they had done (Male instead of Female on the GC). I'd guess it'll be safe to get one.
  3. You might say that. I had one that checked it up. Each case is different.
  4. Dang, that bumped it out. The inquiry date used to be July 01, 2023, now it is Nov 25, 2023. Still heard nothing on my end.
  5. FYI: EBT is food stamps, which is under the government benefits that provide the 'public benefits where it fits'. It's not like a debit card for sure. I used to have one but I am no longer allowed to have it due to history reason of mine (I'll skip out explaining here.)
  6. Well, I'm for one glad I did not enroll to ITT. I went to visit one of their campus and had them to show me everything and asking for proof about people getting into jobs. Well, some of their courses were a bit off and there were no real proof of people getting into jobs. That was a red flag for me and things didn't make sense anyway, academic wise. I left and never went back and heard this went down in 2016 and yup... peoples were forced to pay that bill no matter what. Only a few made it out without paying. It's a painful one here.
  7. I included mine when filing for my Husband for the I-129F but it was for the part 2/Getting NOA2, see first link below. He also kept copies for interview and as a copy of the whole document submitted. Here are some links if you wish to look over on VJ! https://www.visajourney.com/k1-fiance-visa-overview/ Cheers!
  8. So my prediction of getting biometrics info in the mail is not correct (about a month of sending in the packet). There were no mail last week... now it's the waiting game! [June filer]
  9. Hi. I'm the US Citizen who petitioned for my Husband as he is also from Uruguay for K1. We went this expensive and time consuming route because we could. We aren't trying to rush anything other than being accurate with our case. I went with it because it help him learn more about the local information, laws, and other things for the area he plan to stay in Tennessee. Once the time is up we also went ahead and worked on filing out the other papers and have everything ready before sending them out on the day he could send them and reviewing everything like a few days later for fresh eyes and make sure we aren't missing anything. Yes, it take time but we were managing well. We did nothing to engage in illegal activity. So I feel like I need to tell you again, nothing about getting someone into the US is fast. Even in Uruguay they have their own time frame and it can depends. Also, it take both of you to do this completely.
  10. I'm paying renters insurance, but I pay a decent premium around $200 for an apartment because of additional values to be covered. Home insurance can all differ especially in location and what coverage. Sometimes some home insurance will not cover something additional unless it's paid for. Some insurance are also serious when it comes to things like getting electrical panel hooked up only by an licensed electrician as well or they won't cover you (depending on states, policy, etc.) Mobile homes/manufactured home/modular homes may be a bit lower in cost. I just got a manufactured home (2022 built) so I didn't look over the policy well like I should have, but wasn't told about what insurance I would have so I'm going to get an additional insurance for liability reason. Anything can happen.
  11. So she is saying she does not want to be with him anymore and want a divorce? Or she isn't just ready and stressed out about the timing because she probably have too much of other things on her plate, whatever that may be? It sounds like she isn't spelling out all the reason why. She have another man? If so, how long? Just need answers, no angry issue just to get the truth, then spew out anger later... I hope OP can communicate with Spouse and get a clear answer. And hopefully, visual/voice chat like Facetime or Google DUO or something like that.
  12. When my Husband arrived, I gave him several options including paid classes and such, he decided to do nothing but stay at home and program on the computer. He did so much into it that months later he became much better at it. Now he got a programming job. I tried to get him out every once in awhile for something simple like Pokemon Go, it's great for us so far. While I go around meeting random people and knows who to have as a back up for things like welding things back into place for us when we broke something, etc. Also:
  13. Man, I was gonna do some interesting scrapping hand-picked style but I'm coming across several biometrics that are scheduled, but only 1 is marked as waived on this page. A few profile mention biometrics is waived in comment. hmmm. I was trying to guess my chance if biometrics will be waived or not. But since majority of profiles on here didn't say waived, I'm going to say 75% not waived. What do yall think? It's 3am for me. Holy owl lol!
  14. Logistics level here, I can receive and send packages. I also drive forklifts. Load and unload trucks.
  15. To add an interesting section to this topic, my Husband is currently filing for ROC and once he got his extension letter (valid for 24 months) he went to the DMV and they gave him the new DL card that will expire in 8 years as that is for TN's standard timeframe of how long the DL will last. In 2016, TN passed a law that DL will now last 8 years instead of 5 years.
  16. Howdy. June 2022 I-751 filer here. I looked around at May 2022 I-751 filer and beyond a bit, it seems to take about a little over a year processing (13 months) in general. I did notice the shorter trend of getting biometric info about a month mark, used to be longer than 2021's filer. But I can be wrong and everyone's filing would be different. I do too see the 11 month avg processing time, but that's for 80%. I don't know what the trend in the future, but I'm feeling it's going to be about the same unless someone change the role/process and such then it can become a mess if things get misplaced.
  17. What's bothersome? I'm reading up to see how long does it take to get a stamp... but I'm generally unsure about how long does it take to get an appointment.
  18. Edit unavailable; I've misreaded this. 24 months is longer than 12 months, so a lot of GC are appearing sooner than 24 months. It seem to be a quicker trend since, btw. So not really worth a worry about.
  19. On hand I have the paper that mentions this: "Your conditional permanent resident status is extended for 24 months from the expiration date on your Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card" It seems to be a trend that getting the 10 year GC take longer than expected? How many went to get the stamp? Or what's going on?
  20. Sadly my house representative will do absolutely nothing. I get no response back from him. He won't help. Idk what to do otherwise. My thought is what to do when the paper is going to expire.
