  1. We received the online NOA2 approval today but not the actual mail yet, my fiancé and I were trying to calculate the estimated time for the whole visa process. There are a lot of data here to use so we were able to estimate that in 106 days the visa will be in Manila US embassy, however we couldn't find any information on how long the wait time is for when we are able to schedule the interview. Does anyone know the actual step by step process for NVC to Manila US Embassy (or your beneficiary's home country)? There are a lot of articles but it can be confusing, I read that the letter from NVC will inform the petitioner to tell the beneficiary to apply for DS-160 right away. So when the NVC letter arrives, and the beneficiary applied for DS-160, does that lead to scheduling the interview date already? or the beneficiary will still wait for the embassy's mail before she can schedule the interview? Please help, thank you.
  2. So I still put N/A? Or just leave it blank? And then the start date and end date. thank you!
  3. IF THE MAILING ADDRESS IS THE SAME AS THE CURRENT ADDRESS, I DONT NEED TO RE-WRITE IT? SINCE THE INSTRUCTIONS STATES, FILL IT OUT IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT ADDRESS FROM THE MAILING ADDRESS. PLEASE SEE THE SCREENSHOT. OR SHOULD I JUST REWRITE IT? PLEASE HELP, FOR NOW, I JUST ADDED THE START DATE OF STAY. ANOTHER QUESTION, IS IT TRUE THAT THERE SHOULDN'T BE ANY BLANK SPACE? ANYTHING THAT DOESNT APPLY, SHOULD HAVE N/A OR NONE? AS OF NOW I PUT N/A TO MOST OF THE ANSWERS AND NON IF ITS A NUMERICAL ANSWER LIKE ID NUMBER. IS THAT RIGHT? PLEASE HELP THANK YOU SO MUCH.
  4. I need to put another employment history and i dont know what number to put, the first numberfor the employment history part was number 13 and ended at 20.b should i put 21 on the item number? i just want to know too if what i input in the screenshot is correct. THANK YOU SO MUCH
  5. Thank you so much @Crazy Cat!! Sorry one last thing, his parents are both American but they are currently living the RV life. They don’t have permanent residence but they do stay at my fiancé’s apartment every now and then. In the question 31.a, they asked about the city of residence of his parents, should I just put the same city as to where he lives? So sorry for bothering, thank you so much.
  6. NO, WE HAVENT, WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FASTER FOR K1 VISA, AND MY FIANCE CANNOT COME TO THE PHILIPPINES TO MARRY DUE TO HIS WORK, HE CANNOT TAKE TIME OFF AND FINISH ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO MARRY IN THE PHILIPPINES. CAN I ASK MORE QUESTIONS? HOW MANY CHAT CONVERSATION SCREENSHOTS SHOULD I PUT? I ALSO PLAN TO PUT VIDEO CALL SCREENSHOTS AND SOME LOVE LETTERS (FROM WHAT I HEARD THEY PUT SOME) AND ALSO SOME REMITTANCES RECEIPTS. ARE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS NECESSARY? WE DONT POST A LOT SINCE WE WANT PRIVACY. ALSO FOR THE TRIP FLIGHT ITINERARIES AND HOTEL BOOKINGS, I HAVE ALL OF OUR TRIPS TWO TRIPS IN 2022 AND ONE TRIP IN 2023. SHOULD I ARRANGE THEM CURRENT TO OLDEST OR OLDEST TO NEWEST? HOPE YOU CAN ANSWER. THANK YOU @Crazy Cat
  7. Hi, just want to ask about the I-120f form. On page 7, 38.e, asked the passport number of the beneficiary. The question on 38 was "has the beneficiary enter US." I thought I'll just put N/A to all blanks since the beneficiary didnt come to US but i saw a video saying the same case but they filled out the passport number saying that even though the beneficiary didnt enter US, the beneficiary still has a passport number so it shouldn't be N/A. and for the rest of the questions on number 28, they put N/A. should i follow this? please help. Thank you so much
  8. Hi, currently filling out the I129f form, for the address history, our house was sold by my mother and we separated ways, when should be the end date for my previous address? Should it be the date of sale of the house or the actual day we left the house? Plus for my new and current address, it doesn’t match directly to the end date of my previous address since I stayed a while with my parents’ RV truck before moving in to a new apartment. Oh and also within that period I went to visit my gf in her country. So, does it matter that the addresses end date and start date don’t match? For the employment history, I was hired as an intern then later on become full time while still schooling, I’ve been a full time employee for almost two years now but I’m confused as to which date to put as my start date in this employer. Should I put the intern date or when I was really a full time employee? If so, I should put the intern employment on a separate portion? sorry for the many questions but please help. Thank you so much.
  9. Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I am seeking advice and insights from those who have experience or knowledge about the K1 visa process. I am currently in a relationship with my American partner for four years, and he proposed to me in May 2022. We are thrilled about getting married and starting our lives together in the United States. However, we have not yet applied for the K1 visa, mainly due to our concerns about the timeline and income requirement. As I am from the Philippines, I have heard that the visa processing can be lengthy, which worries us as we eagerly await the opportunity to be together permanently. Additionally, my partner is a freshly graduate engineer with about a year and a half of full-time work experience. While his income meets the requirement, we wonder if there is a specific duration of full-time work that must be met for approval. Moreover, there is an added layer of apprehension due to my previous record of denial for a tourist visa in 2019. Although this is for a different visa category, I cannot help but worry if it might affect my chances for the K1 visa. We want to ensure that our application is strong and free from any potential hindrances, and any advice or guidance from those who have gone through similar experiences would be highly appreciated. Thank you all so much for your time and support.
  10. My fiance and I got engaged on May 31, 2022. We've been together for 3.5 years already. We are planning to apply for K-1 visa but we are not sure anymore since the Philippine US Embassy has so many backlogs. Based on what we saw from the timelines here in visajourney, it would take about 1.5 to 2 years before we can be together. So, we are contemplating if the K-1 visa is better or should we just try the CR1 visa because it was said that this visa is given more priority by the US Embassy. But at the same time, CR1 visa is a difficult process and my fiance does not have a lot of break from his full time work to be able to go through the marriage process and everything. I hope you can share your opinions as to what is the best for us. Thank you. (Our story: I am 23 Filipina and my fiance is 22 US citizen. We have been together for 3.5 years and have met 3 times (May 2019, Dec 2019, & May 2022). My fiance works as a full time manufacturing engineer and he is still completing his degree of Mechanical Engineering. His salary is above the poverty guideline for 2 person household. We do not have previous marriages, no children of our own and no criminal record.)
  11. My fiance and I got engaged on May 31, 2022. We've been together for 3.5 years already. We are planning to apply for K-1 visa but we are not sure about the financial documents needed. My fiance is still in college but he was offered a full time work just this June 2022. His salary is above the poverty guideline for 2 person household. Although he did work for the same company for over a year already, he was working as an intern (salary still above the poverty guideline) which does is not considered as stable income. So, we are contemplating whether his recent income tax transcript is accepted or not? Additionally, I have researched on numerous sites and testimonials as well as the USCIS site, whether tax return transcript should be included when submitting the I-129F packet. The USCIS website did not include the IRS tax return in the list of documents to be submitted with the I-129F packet. But some other articles says that it should be included. We are thinking we can apply for the Visa if the IRS tax return is required only on my interview date. Because by then, it will be after a few months or over a year and he will be able to file a recent tax return with his full time job. We are really confused about this, I hope someone can help me clarify this confusion. Thank you so much.
