They allow the petitioner with the Beneficiary. You need to carry your US passport & you can accompany your spouse. My mom had an interview last month and I was with her all the time. They let me in with her and I was sitting in the waiting area where they took the interview. Also, when they asked my mom about me, she informed them I was right there, they called at the window and asked me to give all my docs because it was a bit difficult for my mom to give all my W2's & Tax Transcripts. The interview was done in 30 minutes. If the petitioner is present, they will call you if they need you or you can go and stand at the window to help your loved ones.

That makes no sense even her family applied for her ,you are U.S citizen and you are married to her and she is your spouse .How could even make a difference even if they had applied for her in past, they can't deny on that single reason ,i mean she isnt applying for tourist or study visa .Plus if they should had any doubts they should have put it under A.P and should have asked for more proof to submit to prove marriage was done in good faith but they cant just send for revocation.

COs in India, and everywhere else, are trained in the local culture. Often, COs learn to speak the local language, many speak hindi, etc in India. My spouse was interviewed in hindi for a CR1 by a gora (white/caucasion) CO. 
 
If you have a straightforward case without flags, CR1 is a slam dunk. Arranged marriage is NOT the issue here; the flags in OP's wife's case are. 

I dont think you are require  to submit your 2018 tax transcripts bcoz last date of tax file is april 15th so before than that you are not require to send but if you get interview date after april 15 then you might need to take it with you during interview.

Its taking time to get interview date speciallly for mumbai consulate since they took out new delhi for all immigrant applications. You might will receive either this week or probably next week. They are starting giving interview dates anytime now.

Omg i just can't believe this ,they rejected my marriage termination document because it was submitted under marriage termination document type instead of petitioner marriage termination document type .I didn't noticed this when i re-submit this if this was even another option but i clearly mentioned under comments that this is petitioner  marriage termination document. These people are getting on my nerves ,wasted my 2 months ...😡.Tell me what it takes them to hit download and put it under correct doc type ,literally thats like less than 1 min task and now they will make me wait another 15 days...🤬🤬

If he can provide you then you better upload it because you never know they will send you another RFE requesting 2016 and 2015 . Its easy to get transcripts they are 2-3 pages each but if he couldnt provide you then its okay usually they need only recent tax transcripts but just to be on safe side and make sure you uploaded all other docs such as marriage cert ,divorce cert ,PCC, birth cert ,passport copy etc etc because they don't ask you in single rfe that you are missing this and that but they will send you rfe one by one .

wait another 2.5 weeks which is kind of bullshit process from NVC side 

It takes 2-3 weeks to actually receive them, call them after 2-3 week 

This is bad ,they are taking more than a month now to assign a case number.  I guess it works same like USCIS ,some get faster and some don't

you have to scann 2 certificate in same document, they ask for the original + the translation,
we used camscaner (application for scan) , you can scan the first  document recto & Verso and ad the translated document . 

Yea ,currently taking around 2 months to get case number from the date it has been received by NVC . NVC received my case on Nov 16 and I am still waiting for case number assign.
