Hi Everyone, I got an email from the nvc on 29th january stating that they have recieved all the documents and fees from us and they will notify us once they get an interview date with the embassy . I haven't received anything after that. Do you normally get another email ( Case complete ) after that or this is it ? and how long is it taking for the nvc to arrange an interview at the mumbai embassy if anyone has an idea ?

I got the same email and that is considered as case complete. We got another email about 2 weeks later with a scheduled interview date, time and information about getting to the embassy, setting up a courier and getting our medical done.

Your longer wait may be because of interview availability. I think it is generally slower in India than in some other countries, but others from India may be able to share their experience. Or you can look for similar timelines.

Its taking time to get interview date speciallly for mumbai consulate since they took out new delhi for all immigrant applications. You might will receive either this week or probably next week. They are starting giving interview dates anytime now.

Thank you. Hopefully the email comes soon. The wait is frustrating.
