I check 5 times a day. I just haven't been lucky enough I guess. Hopefully it will happen soon. Immigration is the most frustrating thing I've ever dealt with.

To me the really frustrating thing is them saying she didn't bring enough evidence when they didn't even look through what she brought.

Strange.  Note that typically the applicant's file is reviewed prior to being called to the interview window.  This is definitely Vietnam specific though and better answers can probably be found in the appropriate regional forum.

I interviewed a couple of weeks before my 2nd anniversary, so the temporary I-551 in my passport said CR-1.  I crossed the border 1 day after my 2nd wedding anniversary and received my IR-1 statused, 10 year greencard.  It updated in the system.  Same for Kid1.  We had to file an I-90 for Kid2 because their greencard didn't properly update.  We received the new greencard with the proper status and didn't have to pay anything.  So, I've dealt with both issues  and there's a pretty favourable chance you'll have no issues.

Well, yes.  This is something to plan ahead for.  If your passport is your only ID, the other option is to wait in the area, and have your passport/visa delivered locally before returning home.

@stringpuller I think airlines accept driving licence. I should get a provisional one.

She can mention it. The CO will look at your marriage certificate to verify it’s real. The chances of needing to file the I-90 are very, very small because the system will update.

    Your documentation is all
online. Most application are now. No packet to carry as the CBP officer at entry will access it electronically.. trust me .. be thankful you don't have to carry that dreaded yellow envelope and guard it with your life !!

Correct.  The poster was not familiar with Vietnam's strict Covid closures and did not realize the country was effectively closed for two years.

Actually, Vietnam just opened for travel the end of February 2022 and even then it was limited.  By April 30 it was truly open to travel to Vietnam so no, he couldn't have visited before then.   I went in March and June this year for work, this last time with my wife and daughter.

If the Officer asked you or your wife how many times you were intimate , I can already see myself HOWLING with abuse of discretion and utter indignation in the response to NOIR…No wonder she got flustered !

Choose download.  Then submit the downloaded transcript file to NVC via CEAC upload.  Then print a copy of the downloaded transcript.  Bring that printed copy to the visa interview.

Hey guys. Our case was just approved today. It went to "case being actively reviewed" this morning and then to "case approved" after couple of hours. Thanks everyone for sharing your timeline and experience. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting for an approval!

Some insight into what I observed while waiting:
    1. When I received my NOA1 the letter said my case was in California Service Center.
    2. When I called USCIS to inquire about my case 2-3 months later, they told me it was transferred to the Potomac Service Center. I did not receive any notice neither through mail nor email.
    3. When I called multiple times to double check the location of my case, I've had multiple USCIS customer service reps giving me conflicting information, with some saying it's in Texas Service Center and some saying it's in Potomac. Apparently they have multiple databases where they check this information and may end up giving you wrong information. Eventually I spoke to Tier 2 officers and 2 of them confirmed that my case is in Potomac.
    4. When I called yesterday to inquire about my case I was told that there was an "evidence review" that occurred recently and that the case was assigned to an adjudicating officer. Today the case went to "actively reviewing" and then "approved".

Just thought I might share this in case you guys are in the same situation.
