Ok so lets say I go to china, brought there as a child illegally, do you seriously  think they would ever grant any kind of amnesty proposed for those people and give them citizenship, in the millions ? Why should any nation award the same kind of prize that everyone wants when you came here through legal means. No country just makes you a citizen like that and it shouldn't be the norm. 
 
I have met people on DACA and they are fast food workers and hotel cleaners too . I hate that the left always paints them as doctors, lawyers and ivy league graduates. Also most are old now and not kids anymore. 
 
I dont deny that there are those peoples but there are literally a handful of DACA who became doctors. Mostly for the fact that most medical schools in the country need you to be on a GC or USC once you start med school . There are articles about this online. Its a lie you can quickly debunk but never hear about in politifact or other fact check websites.
 
Also what I always find interesting and ask people that have the opinion like you is what are we going to do to prevent this from happening in the future? I mean if we give those DACA people citizenship now it will be on the news in all of central and south america and they will take it as if I bring my child over they will become a citizen one day and that will somehow give me an anchor to stay there. 
Then I always get the same answer usually, why would we want to prevent that ? It shows that in the core people like you dont see these people as some kind of mistake in the system and want reprieve for them because its a unique and special circumstance, it shows me an agenda that most people on the left have to allow any person into this country whoever they are and where they come from . Its not something unique to the left here but same in europe and other countries . Certainly not China though  
 
If there is any kind of amnesty there needs to be strong and tough border security measures. Its common sense if you feel sorry for those kids that had to live in limbo all there lives then you want to change that and make it very hard for other people to repeat this. If you dont then you have maybe a political agenda behind it but sense it doesn't make.
 

There's a lot of ways, such as the remittance tax that could easily offset the 'cost', which either way, a lot of Americans really don't care where the money comes from as long as it gets done. The US wastes enough money on other things. Take some of the "aid" taken away from other countries, the UN, ect, and apply that towards it. That would definately offset the cost of things.

Ok, Mexico may say that all they want but all they have to do is put a small tax on the remittances going to Mexico to help pay for it. It's pretty simple to think about if you look beyond the rhetoric and talking points on both sides.

Yuma,AZ had a huge problem with illegal immigration and since they built a wall with fencing and sensors and drones it is down to basically ZERO . 
 
No one is talking about a concrete wall but a wall in terms of inpenetrable fencing . With double fencing and additional technology . It will not stop everyone but it will give Border Patrol time to react .

I dont think RFEs and more thorough vetting of H1Bs visas is a bad thing. There was wide ranging abuse with H1B visas going on for decades and there is a reason many call it slave visa. Its for employers wanting cheap labour that is completely owned by them. On the other side there are lots of american graduates that are having a hard time finding jobs because they cant compete with the low salary that they will give to an H1B.

Where the way of life and culture is so different they will never adapt to this land its values and people . Well, as a Mexican National living in the Border (Juarez, right where the Consulate for Green card interviews is), i can tell you right away that the current family chain immigration policy is being abused way beyond control.  A lot of people who have US visas go and give birth in the US (15 minute drive), with the excuse of "giving their child a better future", but the reality is that they do it with the intention of immigrating themselves as parents of a USC when the time comes.  This is not exclusive of people from Mexico, a lot of people from different countries that live here (We have a huge variety of manufacturing companies from around the world) do the same. 
All this problem goes beyond abusing the immigration system, it goes from giving birth by abusing the Medicaid program and never paying a single penny, to people that i know that are on welfare, get food stamps, enroll in multiple state welfare support programs, while in reality they actually never need it. And most of this people, who usually own a GC, they don't even live in the USA, they pay no taxes on the US, and take advantage of cheap rent here in Mexico. 
As i said this is not exclusive of Mexican Nationals, people from all over the world abuse the system, I've traveled a lot, and people from around the world agree that this is the way everybody tries to abuse the system, that in the end, the ones that end up paying for all of this are regular tax payers.
 
My opinion is, chain migration is out of hand, you don't need your parents here in the US to live (most countries don't allow this), much less your siblings.    It's better to make the system much more efficient for spouses or children that really need to be reunited with their families.

You would think that would be how it works but it is disappointing to hear that they would be placed on Medicaid, considering they would be provided more benefits then some USC that have worked their entire life and would be qualified for less in their retirement age. 
 
I think a lot of people underestimate the cost of health care in the US without insurance coverage until its too late and already in the Hospital. I see it happen a lot in my job. I have a feeling a lot of people are naive to the costs of retirement and aging with appropriate health coverage in the US. 
 
For Example: If you have just Medicare in retirement and end up in a Nursing Home. Medicare has the right to reverse the mortgage on your home to make payments for your nursing home stay. This wouldn't happen on Medicaid.

The raise act would 100% allow you to do that. You will be allowed to bring your parents here with a residential permit. You would be responsible for covering their health insurance.

But that’s the thing most commenting here didn’t use the categories that they are trying to eliminate but are spouses of either citizens or residents or came here on a work visa.
