Just wanted to say how excited we were that the wife got her 10 yr card (about 10 months) today and surprised that we didn't even know it was sent, or who the package from from!  No interview, nor bio's, no notice that it's been approved or even sent.  Was a mystery!  Onward and upward!  I'll have some questions to ask in the forums about things in the coming weeks I guess!  Best of luck to everyone!   I thought we'd have to wait for another year, according to the timetable of approval estimates...

She got that notice that it would be coming soon, about two weeks after she got the card.  Was a weird envelope, not like an "official" USCIS envelope...

No worries! You did great, it won't cause any problem at all.

Most, if not all,  have a hard time adjusting to things.  My wife was a K1, and the wait (both for the visa and again for her work card) were long and trying.  But we managed and just passed our 3rd anniversary!   If you want, check out meetup.com , your area should have dozens of interesting activities, gatherings, etc that you would be interested in.  My wife made a LOT of jewelry!  Now she is on to the plants and our house is full of them!  Happy wife, happy life..   As long as you both love each other you can get through anything.  This only makes you stronger!

So,  my wife actually did get an appointment in LA consulate!  She did get a "check your email for confirmation" but never got one.  I emailed then, and a few days later they asked for her name, BD, her email, and her appointment.  Then we didn't here anything,  A few days later they sent me a link, 78 pages of appointments for March and April.  IF you were trying to get an appointment, and got to the end, check here in this link if your name appears!  She did get an email a few hours later from their post what she needs to do.  Follow the link.

Well, time snuck up and time to file ROC.  Actually Nothing hardly changed.  Same work, same address,  same vehicles, same LLC, same banks, etc.
We saved in folders all the stuff we submitted (and took to interview,), so pretty much just make fresh copies.  Wife's Passport expired, but she has an appointment in LA for renewal.  I guess send a copy of the expired one, and her new one will be here a year before our appointment. 😆  About the only thing we can add is pictures of us with my family and hers, and her birthday  cards from my sister to her.  Yeah, some people still mail cards.. Nice.   About all I need to do is fill out the forms, and write a check, bundle and ship.
I don't get on here often, as we have a busy life, but I do pop in on occasion just to read the hot topics!

Wife's Passport expired in Sept 2020.  Due to "Covid" consulate was shut down.  Now, they open up for appointments for March and April.  Knowing they have a faulty system, they recommend hitting refresh all day and maybe you can get on line.  The better part of 10 hours spent refreshing.  We did make it to the April calendar but would not load.  Some said they actually made it to the captcha before freezing.  Our last attempt got us the welcome screen from Wordpress.  I can't believe a gov org is running their website on WordPress?  FB is on fire with complaints.  Oh well, Maybe in April we can get her an appointment for May or June.  I read that there are over 1.2 million Filipinos in SoCal, SoNev, and Az..  We will be filing her ROC here in a month or so, perhaps she will eventually get a US Passport long before a Philippine Renewal.  I thank God everything is ok that she does not have to travel anywhere.  (Ok, Rant mode off!)  LOL

Sorry for hijacking this post but for those who are still in the Philippines, check with your banks on how to update your online/ mobile app banking accounts. I had so many issues changing form my Smart # to T-Mobile on my online account. Btw, I have BPI and BDO back home.
