We will see what happens under the new ambassador "Mr Fisher"
but u must understand that for a moroccan to marry a widow or divorced woman (another moroccan) it is unsual
A widow or a divorced woman in Morocco remains Just that / no man wants her regardless of her age, weight or looks
and i know i had a long 6 year haul to get my husband here but if a 23 year old man will not consider marrying a Moroccan widow or divorced woman, why are they considering marrying the same in the US?
and yes ,  some interviews are unfair
recently denied a young pregnant woman who's USC was waiting outside the embassy (sure that she would be approved)
and in 2009 they denied (husband was from Colorado) a woman who married and had a child/ CO the baby could go but not the wife
Adil and I jumped thru hoops and did all immigration asked of us to prove our relationship (married now almost 9 years)
do what immigrations asks of you/ keep your relationship a good one
prove to immigration you are one of the ones with an honest love
They do doubt / they try to make you quit and many do
BTW when i was on JUST A PENPAIL SITE not dating I had about 200 Moroccan young men say they loved me / i see a couple of them on here married to other women!!!!!!!!! frauds yes

This. This is all to common here where people want answers and it feels like we have to pry bit by bit of info out of them until the whole story comes to light and it actually becomes clear why they got denied; but they don't want to just be upfront about it.

Like mentioned above, the CO is trying to see how the beneficiary reacts and if they seem prepared with a reasonable answer. Is it always fair? Probably not, but unfortunately it is a method that they use to weed out fraudulent relationships.

Those 'seemingly normal' stories that you read here often have a backstory that isn't mentioned. Again, maybe it's not 'fair', but immigration is privilege, not a right. People are quick to say that a denial is 'injustice', but often (not always) there is a bit more to the story.

Generally if the beneficiary can answer questions confidently, they have a good chance of being approved in Casablanca. The answers that you gave to your sample questions in the initial post is what the CO is looking for. Also evidence is key in Casablanca. I can't stress enough how important it is to front load the initial petition, and how important it is that the beneficiary knows what evidence was included and knows everything about the petitioner's past and present.

It has nothing to do with "humanity" and "injustices". Morocco like several other countries in that region are ripe with visa fraud. Using marriage and US citizens to get to the US and dump them then.

If something is outside of a cultural norm, as in, if a 23 year old Moroccan man would never ever ever date a previously divorced woman with a kid(s) who is 12-20 years older than he is and of a different religion, there in Morocco, why would he somewhere else?

It doesn't make any sense. Obviously there are the cases where it does work and is a successful relationship in the long term; but it is the job of the CO's at the embassy to 'weed' out the false ones.

If it seems unfair, that could be said about people who want a tourist visa to the US from many countries but can't get it. It's because of a bad history and track record of visa fraud and abuse.

You can as mentioned write a letter of complaint to a respresentative and all; but when it comes to the embassy they have certain diplomatic status and immunities where they are like their own powers and can't be influenced easily.

Again this has nothing to do with "human rights". Has to do with the embassy and the CO's doing their jobs despite how "mean and cruel" you may think it is. It isn't a right to come to the US, it's a privilege and again with such bad track records from these countries, that's why these types of things are in place. Trust me, Philippines is no easier when it comes to tourist visas, it has a high denial rate. Seem unfair? Sure, but I understand it definately as they don't have the best history when it comes to people not overstaying and such.

While it is good to vent; just search here on VJ about some other cases from Morocco and others in that region and you will read some of the most absurd stories ever about fraudulent relationships/marriages. Some of them are very hard to read because it seems like fiction but they apparently are true.

First you would need someone to sponsor you, that seems to be your Parents.

The criminal record is not a factor at this stage.

Then when the PD is current and you are interviewed the criminal history comes into consideration and the waiver. I am not going to guess how such things will be considered then.

So start with your parents petition and see.

Meanwhile get on with your life.

NVC cc from August still do not have september or october interview dates
you say u expect NOA2 in Feb
based on this i say (if u get NOA2 in Feb) you will not interview in March or Arpril
this is from the recent and past posts here on the Casa embassy
it is best to read Morocco portal and follow it and read embassy reviews
The 1st quarter interviews  will be out december and january and you are looking at 2nd quarter  interview
    u should do a timeline
u should say if this is K1 or CR1
all that makes a big difference
K1 passes thru to embassy and much of the work is done from there (like getting Moroccan 2 police reports /Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station)
if CR1 these are done at NVC stage (now online from petitioner thru CEAC) but the  stage is slower as the 2 invoices need to be paid and
marked payment recd before you can continue doing DS 260 and I 864

Your mother is eligible to for an immigrant Visa. It will be difficult to obtain a B2. She can try, but no guarantees. Casa is tough.

you could both be waiting for a visa number to become available /  there are a limited number for each quarter
    October starts the 4th quarter
worry more about being prepared for the interview and take this time to go over possible questions with your spouse
get to know every thing about your spouse and life in the US
every big and every stupid little thing
go into this interview well prepared
    be confident
    dress respectfully
have plans for the future life in the US
don't assume you will automatically get a visa just because u have a interview
it is up to u to pass a test showing you are sincerely in love and the relationship is genuine

Sleeping, showering and moving are much better than not being altogether. I gather his life is in danger so the man has to do what he has to do to survive. Like I said before, even if you filed for an expedite, it will take sometime and time is not on his or your side. Safety should be your number one priority at this point before a visa, expedite or immigration process. These things will happen while he is alive. Best of luck to you and be safe.

Expedites can be requested via USCIS directly (via a phone call) or through a senator. One is not more successful than another...what matters is the merits of the request and evidence provided, not who requests it.

The question you two must answer for yourselves and for the Consul:
Will the Moroccan man Marry a Moroccan wife of the same age of the USC?
It has been beed done and couples have proven the relationship is true and strong.
Again, as everyone says the age difference alone is not grounds for denial.
There must be other red flags. I suggest that you build a very strong case with many visits
and longer stays. I also suggest you prepare for a lengthy journey. I hope I am wrong, but
Best of luck to you two.

You do realize that your kid would most likely move to the US AFTER having all of their education done because they won’t be able to petition for you until they are 21. Unless you’re sending your kid alone. In order for them to get that so fancy education you talk about, they would have to be residents of the country not just citizens.

You live legally in canada. You have the option of becoming a citizen there soon so what’s with the obsession about the US? Canada is exactly the same as the US except it doesn’t have a lunatic president, free healthcare and no mass shootings. Hmmmm, tough call!

Hey if she's rich she can give birth in the US of course. And rich I mean minimum 10.000$. That's if there will be 0 complications.

Tell her she won't be allowed to stay in the US though. Birth tourism doesn't give her any rights or status.  lets face it, that's what she's after. Dint give an excuse that she want to be away from her ex...

That's even if she'll be allowed on the plane when pregnant. Or allow to stay long. Given the circumstances she might be allowed to only stay couple of weeks.

If the children are under 21 (or the age of majority in their country of domicile) and not married, then they must be included even if you have no custody of them.

    I-864 instructions (https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864instr.pdf), page 7:
    "Item Number 4.
Type or print the number of unmarried children you have who are under 21 years of age, even if you do not have legal custody of these children. You may exclude any unmarried children under 21 years of age, if these children have reached majority under the law of their place of domicile and you do not claim them as dependents on your Federal income tax returns."

Totally agree July statements are out for July 2018 14 K1 appoved 40 CR1 and only 16 IR1 (out of the  hundreds of  interviews)
they will not say it is age (as that violates the USC rights not to be discriminated because of age or sex
what they will ask is "Can the USC still have  children" as that is suppose to be important to a Moroccan man (easy to tell from photo who the Moroccan is)
If denied that embassy never marks the 221g to tell u why a K1 is denied/ they just say denied
they do have to give a written response if spouse visa is denied
The importan't thing here is to make several face to face visits
do not marry on the 1st visit
we have the biggest age difference but it took 3 applications , an appeal (i won) and 6 years to get his visa
you need a lot of patience
    a lot of face time
a lot of love to get thru this as you will need to prove a real relationship
