The interview for cr1

Hello! I was wondering if during the interview for cr1 (a married couple case) do the consular already know how you met with your spouse when he asked you about it and he compare what u are telling him with what he have, or it will be the first time for him to hear it and only from you.

The way i met my husband was through my brother they were friends on facebook and when he came to Morocco for a visit my brother invited him home to try the couscous when he saw me he was attracted to me and that's how our journey started.

The reason I'm asking is because my husband think the way we were met is kind of complicated and it will be better if i just said through internet! Any advices pleaseeeeee????

I would always advise to speak the truth during the interview.

Did you actually meet through the Internet?

If not, then that would be misrepresentation. NEVER lie with immigration...the consequences are severe (permanent bar).

Do not try to get "creative" during the interview.  Just answer each question honestly.....

casa does read the packet before the interview so yes,  they know and if u try saying anything else , u would be asked to prove it and WOW, a lie to CO gets u not only denied but much worse

what is wrong with a family person introducing u?   that is a very common way to meet here in USA and a lot more respectible than meeting say,  in a bar

Forgot to say reason i know they read packet ahead and even decide ahead is my mother -in-law applied tourist visa a year ago/  i was there to travel to travel with her if she was successful / the paper they handed her was written the day before the interview (Arabic on one side and English on the other)

I want to Thank everyone for the advices i really appreciate that, of course there is nothing wrong with being introduced by a family member and that's how we met, i will only tell the truth during the interview, i needed to hear it from people that does understand the situation more than others who's been giving me doubts about the way we met and spreading their negativity.

do the interview in English as to live here the CO will want to see command of our language
