11 Days between "expedite" and interview letter.

As far as I know, they are only working on DV because of the lawsuit. No clue why family immigration is not a priority to them like it is for other US embassies in other countries. 
 
I think it’s political, given the history of Russia - US diplomatic relations over the last few years. 

They are not evacuated. They are doing DV lottery interviews.

We were stuck at USCIS for 18 months for no reason, no RFE, think they lost our file, then found it after we called and emailed everyone we could possibly find.   So asked NVC to expedite because we already got delayed by a very long time because of USCIS

our I-130 (USC filed for spouse) has been sitting at Nebraska for 17 months, filed January 2019. We submitted an outside of processing time inquiry over a month ago and received an email that says to keep waiting indefinitely and that NSC process cases in order received (complete BS). 
 
we have also contacted the ombudsman’s office, still waiting for their response. Reached out to the congressman, they received a response from USCIS that our case hasn’t even been assigned to an officer yet! Got the same information from a tier 2 officer when we called USCIS. They submitted another inquiry on our behalf. 
 
needless to say, we have almost lost all hope. Does anyone know what else we can do to get a decision on this petition? Or at least to get the petition assigned? Would greatly appreciate any advice. Feel like we are being treated extremely unfairly and don’t understand why.

How are they transferring August cases, and not doing anything for January people. There’s a 7 months gap between us. We’ve been waiting 14 months, twice as long, without any updates or transfers.

Pretty sure that was a case that was transferred to a different office 

Why are we among the unlucky ones who have to wait longer 😩
