So thers can help you more effectively. You can compare your timeline with other, similar applications.

They are open for emergency /"critical" cases now. If you have made an application on such a basis, if you situation qualifies then they will process you. What qualifies yours as mission critical?

Maybe you haven’t heard, but all of the spousal visas are now officially considered as mission critical by the Department of State.
