Really hoping that is the case. I'm fine with waiting an extra 6 months or however how to get my ROC processed, it sounds like they would still process them. However, my heart also goes out to those still in the middle of the process. I know some people are still waiting years for their applications to be processed

    Copied from NYT:

A formal order temporarily barring the provision of new green cards and work visas could come as early as the next few days, according to several people familiar with the plan.

Under such an executive order, the Trump administration would no longer approve any applications from foreigners to live and work in the United States for an undetermined period of time, effectively shutting down the legal immigration system in the same way the president has long advocated closing the borders to illegal immigration.

It was not immediately clear what legal basis Mr. Trump would claim to justify shutting down most immigration.

They are. Anything that doesn't require in-person appointments. So background checks, approvals and other processes are still running in the background.

If he suspends all immigration, how would USCIS sustain itself since all of it’s revenue is from the application fees?

    1. Do not know about this.  Haven't checked.
    2. Just print out statements. His name should be listed somewhere within that statement. That should be sufficient.  I used that for AOS and currently for ROC without any problem.
    3. You can do that if your current policy doesn't show his name.
    4. You don't need to explain the change of address. Use your new address for ROC. Infact, if both your licences show this current address,  you could use it as proof for his ROC..

Bill's? Mortgage? You can add these too. Don't stress with what you currently don't have.

If you are the principal owner of a credit card and your husband is a secondary signer, enclose the statements AND photocopy the fronts of BOTH of your cards, as each of your names should appear on the cards.

I was able to find a page on my online bank profile that listed both names on the account.  I did a "print screen" of this page and included it with my bank statements.

Your yearly policy statement from the auto insurance should list authorized "claimants".  Send a copy of the policy statements.  I put a tab at the bottom of the page to indicate which page the claimants were on.

Get an sworn affidavit from your sister stating that the two of you lived at her home from xx/xx/xx to xx/xx/xx.

Don't know what to do about those tax transcripts.  Mine would not come online, so I had to get mine in the mail.  You can always submit a complete copy of your tax return (plus W-2s, 1099s, etc.) instead.

    Best of luck to you!

FYI - saved paper and used 2 sided copies for all our evidence.  We didn’t have any issues and approved.

    Just some additional info:

USCIS compiles your papers using ACCO binders.  These require a two-hole punch, punching the holes in the TOPS of your documents, and using either a folder with pre-mounted ACCO clips or individual ACCO clips (which we used)  - easily available at your local Staples or office supply store.  They want SINGLE-SIDED only.

The OP asked how the papers could be presented in a way that is EASIEST for the officer to handle.  The link I posted before tells you EXACTLY what they want.  While they will accept all sorts of different folders/clips/rubber bands etc., they do specify what they would prefer.    If you two-hole punch and ACCO clip your documents together there is a much lower chance of documents "getting lost".

Please do read the link, which comes directly from USCIS, and if you are looking to make your journey the easiest for the person handling your file, follow their guidelines.

Ask your bank if they could provide you with a Statement,  called "Personal Signature Card Addendum - Add Owner(s)".   That the statement your wife and you should've signed when she added you to the bank account.

here is an example. The look f the form will vary, form bank to bank. US bank, for example, had a lot of info on our Statement - our DOB, SS#, addresses, date when I was added to the bank account and etc...
Anyway, I believe each bank should have something like that on the  record....

For some people it is good to have another pair of eyes to review everything and double check for any mistakes. However, for majority of people, including myself, it is a very expensive and unnecessary service. Most of the answers can be found here, on this forum. Also, anyone can ask any questions here absolutely free.

I agree with K&R, that time stamp on the photos is not a requirement. We wrote down all information on the back of each photo. It was accepted and approved.

I'm glad Visa Coach worked out for you well. However, I encourage all people to utilize this forum first and save hard earned money for the family💜

Please review the guides here. All the information you seek are there.

    https://www.visajourney.com/content/guides/

Here is is an overview of what you can do..

You can’t file for naturalization until next year. 90 days before Nov 29, 2019.  You can’t file for your mother until after you are done with Naturalization., which takes about a year. So you are looking at 2020. The process to bring you mother takes 1.5 to 2 years. So your mother will be able to immigrate here around 2022 or so. You can file for your brother when you are a citizen, but it takes 15 years.  Your brother will not be ble to come at the same time as your mother.

Morocco was without an ambassador to the US embassy for over 9 months
the new amassador understands the country
things are changing since he is there/ still those who do not know English well and can not show a sincere relationship will be denied but those of us who  in the past had to fight for our visas,  may not have to go thru multiple applications and several years of heartbreak
