Can't specifically answer about the RFE information, but don't send extra stuff, just send in what they ask for.

Yea think it would be rare to see a GC before EAD/AP, but I suppose it has happened here and there by some lucky ones.

I'm sure everyone here has given all great answers and I won't reiterate about telling the truth and being honest, but let your "friends" know, even if they get through with their lies, if found out eve 5-6 years from now, all can be stripped from them because of it. So is it worth the risk? No.

USCIS does misplace things once and awhile also, keep that in mind, an RFE might not just be for wrong paperwork or lack there of, but just because they need a new copy of it. Doesn't mean it's your fault, they are humans over there too.

Agreed. Difficult embassy already to deal with. Then marriage on first meeting? And no other trips since supposedly? Fear of flying is not a reason to not see eachother honestly. I know the trip is pretty long as I worked in Angola and flew back and forth a lot, but face time is crucial when dealing with the embassy there......

Probably shouldn't ask, but is there any other "issue" such as large age difference??

Canada is not that bad, as in you don't have to overkill the evidence. But you can add as little or as much as you wish to again. Key thing is the "how we met" part, that's primarily asking about how you met physically. It can be 1-2 lines or you can use an attachment if you need more space and wanted to give a brief timeline and all. Photos are secondary evidence but still good to put in some. Also can use chat logs/emails to show an over all timeline of the relationship, even if you don't have them from years prior, can still use what you have.

Depending on her job, some offer paid leave because of jury duty. I know mine does as it is a legal 'requirement' so to say for citizens. Or she could go throw a fit and make a scene during final jury selection and get eliminated lol.

    Can't answer first question.

Second question, no. Sometimes engagement party photos have caused denials because it actually appears more as a wedding, or local customs treat it as such. You end up being "too married" for a K-1 essentially. So I'd avoid those.

OP believes the K-1 will be approved, but a medical examine is required, which involves vaccinations, so the K-1 itself might not be granted because the medical would be incomplete (possibly, up to the embassy) and would hope no such waiver for a health related thing like simple vaccinations would exist. You're playing with other people's lives and well being.

Ben&Zian got a reaction from SerbCA in Do i need new medical for AOS interview?
Should be fine. The medical needed to be valid (within 12 months) for the AOS packet. You supplied it. That's all that was needed. it even says "A completed medical Form I-693 and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)"  You submitted it with the AOS packet. You're fine.

Ben&Zian got a reaction from geowrian in Do I need a CA driver to accompany me to driving test?
If you're legally able to drive on your UK license still, then should be no issue. If it's expired or passed the 'deadline' of usage (by state law, each state can vary) then I would take a US licensed driver.

Ben&Zian got a reaction from SHANE (USA) in I-129F Question 54
Like above. The statement of how we met can be a brief, 1-2 sentences or an attachment if you wish to explain more.
The letters of intent to marry are simple statements from each party stating they intend to marry within the 90 days if approved for a K-1 visa, and then signed. This can be scanned by the beneficiary and emailed to you the petitioner to print off.

    You're confusing 2 separate requirements:
    1) Circumstances of meeting with the past 2 years. The size of the box should be indicative of the length they are expecting.
    2) Signed letters of intent to marry. One from the petitioner and one from the beneficiary are suggested. Some people do one letter signed by both parties, which shouldn't be an issue either.

Do like how the OP also blamed the kids for causing distractions by being in the same room haha. Mean if an AOS interview isn't important enough to get a baby sitter or put them into daycare I don't know what is.

~Moved to Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports~

There is only one proper way.. The K-1 is void upon entry. You are legally authorized to be in the US on the I-94 for the 90 days. During that time get married. Then as soon as you have all documents together you file for AOS, preferably before the end of the 90 days. While technically you could wait years and then file and still be fine, once the I-94 expires after the 90 days you are out of status and unlawfully present and can be arrested and deported, marriage doesn't prevent that. Follow these guides and you'll have no issues, we didn't.

Would be quite amazing if intent was being assessed finally USCIS even after entry. But this case the OP seemed to literally admit the intent was to stay since they applied for AOS only a month after entry basically. Really wish AOS from other status's in the US would be gotten rid of but until then maybe this is a good start with harder investigations.
