I never said that everyone who brings an invitation letter will get approved. I said that I know 15 people who were approved after bringing invitation letters. It is possible that there are people who brought invitation letters who were rejected.

Writing an invitation letter and showing that you can afford to host the visitor is not a waste of time since it is an option that is available.

Maybe that "friend" is really her? Could she be talking about herself?
Concerning healthcare, there are a lot of countries with better healthcare systems than the US.

It's one or the other. You were already given a choice. Why complicate things and confuse them?
If you had any doubts about your credit card, then you should have just sent a check.

The I-751 was filed on 1/29/2020.  As of 11/15/20, the N-400 could be filed. Not in a hurry unless the processing fee is scheduled to go up again. Most likely will try to file N-400 before 12/1/2020.

Now that you have the documents back, just make sure that you are using the most up to date forms ( 12/31/2019) and resend on 9/10/2020 with $680  ( $595 filing fee and $85 Biometric service fee) to:

    USCIS
    P.O. Box 21200
    Phoenix, AZ 85036

If you wait to file after 10/2/2020, then the fee will have gone from $595 to $760.

Did you know that he married for the green card from the very beginning  or did he just tell you that?

If you knew that from the beginning, that means you participated in fraud.

Are you sure that you are not upset with him now and decide that you are going to prevent him from getting a green card?

If you have a joint checking account, then send it in!
Unless USCIS asks for a reason, why are you looking for your reasons not to send that in?
It's still a joint checking account even if he did not put money in it. It's still a joint account even if he was fired at around that time.

Stop looking for excuses to fail. If you continue to do so, it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Why would there be a second extension if the first one has not expired? I have not heard of a second extension and many others have not too. Why don't you provide more details instead of being offended?

I am certain that you are mistaken in your claim that a second extension was received.

Sometimes doing a little research on your own before filing and before hiring an attorney can go a long way. If you had access to visa journey then, maybe things would have been different.

Since she signed the petition already, just file as soon as soon as possible with the required paperwork. The only way to get an extension letter is to file. You should get the 18-month extension in less than a month after you file.

If you were to lose your job now before the GC expire, just know that you can file for unemployment insurance.

I hope that everything works out for you.
