  1. I just re-read wife's oath invitation. I assume they want you to bring the passports you used for the travel after your interview.
  2. Foreign spouse's mailing and physical address can be changed on the DS-260. Nothing will be sent physically to beneficiary until the passport with visa is delivered after interview. All other correspondence will be via email.
  3. I'm sorry things are not working as planned. If you actually divorce, remember to withdraw your I-864 and I-130 at the consulate and NVC prior to the visa being issued.
  4. Well, yes...but I'm from the sophisticated part of the state. I'm not from up in the hills.
  5. Suggestions? Evidence must be screened by human eyes. Vetting must be done by humans.
  6. Another version is "Did you get your limit of squirrels?"
  7. Alternate version Tbone's story: A new computer was set up at the University of Arkansas Student Union. Students could pay a quarter, insert their index finger, have their I.Q. measured, and enjoy a 3-minute conversation with the computer on the basis of their I.Q. The first student put in his quarter and stuck in his finger. The computer said, "Beep beep! Your I.Q. is 187; let us discuss nuclear physics." After the first student left, the second student repeated the process. The computer said, "Beep beep! Your I.Q. is 123. Let us discuss politics." His time ran out, and the third student put in his money and stuck in his finger. The computer said, "Beep beep! Your I.Q. is 12. "Did you get a deer?"
  8. Congratulations!!! Wife and I did the same last year. Wife took oath at Plano also. Make sure she registers to vote right after the ceremony there at the Plano Convention center. They will have kiosks set up outside.
  9. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with affidavits. Personal affidavits are of very limited value. A bona fide marriage of 2 years should have much, much stronger evidence. Evidence showing financial mingling, sharing life together, and living at the same address together over the past 2 years is much more important than personal affidavits.
  10. It's the Missouri Service Center. Sadly, there are no published processing times. Our case, also, was rock-solid.
  11. The endorsed visa (after entry into the US) will allow her to re-enter the US just like a plastic Green card.
  12. The correct answer is NOW "Representative Mike Johnson of Louisiana"
  13. For an I-751, the Green Card holder is the petitioner (and beneficiary). The USC spouse signs the spouse area. I think you will be fine. Sometimes, they just like to look back over the case. Keep checking the status. You should see "Oath ceremony will be scheduled" (or something similar) for the N-400 soon.
  14. Looks like they give you the average time for all field offices combined. I-751 times depend a lot on local offices.
  15. ***Moved to Removing Conditions on Residency forum area*** There are no published waiting times for MSC. I suggest you look under field offices. Wife's I-751 was at MSC for 44 months before approval.
  16. That is not accurate. Here is how it works: 1. Case is DQ'd by NVC. 2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC. 3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month. 4. NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate. 5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email. 6. NVC then sends case to consulate. After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.
  17. Yes. They will be legal residents once they enter, and CBP has endorsed the visas.
  18. You can pay the $220 fees after entry into the US. The plastic Green Cards will not be sent until you do so.
  19. USCIS processing is self-funded by fees we pay. The IRS is not self-funded.
  20. Shouldn't be a big issue as long as he is well-qualified and he properly completes the forms.
  21. The I-130 is the basis for the even submitting an I-485 in this case. I expect everything will be looked at.
  22. ****Another new thread merged***** @Underscore U.S.A, do not post another new thread regarding this topic.....Administrative action is pending**
