  1. Hello, what is the recommended financial proof to send with I-134a? And how much should be provided?
  2. ZephyrMoon

    I-134a

If I submit I-134a soon for a Cuban do you think it could get accepted before next year?? I’m terrified that if a republican wins that this program will end
  3. During the visa interview for K1, does the visa officer see what you sent in your I-129f package like the bonafide relationship evidence or only the DS-160?
  4. Has anyone been approved a K1 after meeting twice? Some period around 11 days total. I’m really stressed out I don’t think that I can afford more time any soon 😭 He’s from Cuba
  5. For I-129f and K1, is it allowed for the petitioner to have never been employed? Meaning no money, but my mother is willing and wants to be the only financial/joint sponser and wants us to live with her. She earns enough money for this as well. Is it allowed for her to be the one who’s 100% responsible money-wise while I’m the one petitioning? Also, is that okay even when my fiancé comes here and applies for the I-485, I-751, and n-400 too for her to be the only one financially responsible for him even if I’m still the main petitioner/American spouse?
  6. If I, the USA citizen, gets a legal first name change and gender change while my fiancé is waiting for his I-485 approval, can anything happen? That would mean that the marriage certificate and other information sent in the I-485 would have my old name, and it doesn’t seem that marriage certificates can be updated at least in my state
  7. I’m 19 and about to file an I-129f for my fiancé, but I’m unemployed, never have been employed, and live with my parents, my mother is willing to be the joint sponsor and the one who financially supports my fiancé, is that okay? And what is everything that we have to include in the I-129f package regarding that?
  8. I’m transgender but haven’t yet got my legal name changed, when filing I-129f for my fiancé, should I put my preferred name in the “Other names” “Given name” section? And then in part 8 for additional information, I explain it? Something like “This is the name that people refer to me as in real life as I’m transgender, but it is not used in anything legal.” Is that a good idea? Also, some other questions: 1.) Me and my fiancé are making letters of intention to marry, do we put my legal name on those? 2.) If this petition is accepted, will the person interviewing my fiancé be aware of my preferred name and gender? Because my fiancé will be calling me “he” while I’m a biological female, or should he just use she anyways? This is just something that I’m really paranoid about, and I don’t want him to lose his chances of coming to the United States or for this process to take longer.
  9. I’m about to file a I-129f for my fiancé to come to the United States from Cuba, I’m 19 and he’s 17 about to turn 18 (I’m filing it after he turns 18 of course), and me and him only met once in real life for 4 days, he was 17 in that time, meaning that he was underage in all of those photos that I’ll use in the proof of relationship, will that affect anything?
  10. If I, the USA citizen, get a first name change while waiting for I-129f to be approved for my fiancé, will that affect anything? How do I notify USCIS and do I have to show them my updated documents as well?
