I mean....it really wasn't too far off that to be honest 😑

in contrast, filing #1 fit comfortably into a fedex express box, and #2 in a Fedex express envelope.

I know because I kept having to re-order printer paper (and ink).... in total I ordered 7 reams of 500 pages = 3500 sheets. Allowing for mis-prints/duplicates, and what was left over,  I used well over 2500 sheets....and then if you add on the load of stuff that was printed double sided (mainly credit card and bank statements), I printed well over 4000 sides of paper.
I also wore out a brand new printer so had to buy another one.

There was definitely stuff like that in mine, within the mountain of other correspondence, along with the not so nice messages to/about me, of which there were plenty. It's all truthful, so it all went in.

Will not be surprised if someone hasn't sent a whole crate (attached). If the attached ever hits my desk and I am the IO, my supervisor must surely hate me. I will just submit resignation.
Someone here had sent like 1000 pages, and that was just chats. I even wonder how they knew it was 1000. Did they count it? If 1000 was just chats, I wonder what else they included in the package and what was the final package size.
I have seen and also heard, of people who sent steamy bedroom pictures and texts. This one might get my attention and even if you send a crate, I will not resign. Just joking 😂 on this one. Please, keep bedroom stuff and sexy name calls to yourselves. They do not prove anything.

P.S I know you cannot submit the attached. What I am merely referring to is mountain of evidence the size of the attached.

Just submit what the 751 asks for. They really just want to see shared finances. They already approved your previous green card, so you already have a folder on file.

I had to do an interview because i was on deployment for all the other interviews, so i missed them.

Looking back I had a grand total of 44 pages, 20 of which were tax return transcripts, the rest were joint apartment contracts, insurance, joint property deed, property tax statements and some random utility bills that were in either one of our names. No photos, no affidavits.

I was approved without interview and no RFEs so no issues - I'd think the married filing jointly tax returns along with the rental contracts and property documents carry the most weight showing that we do live together.

    Good luck!

Ex-husband will hopefully remember to still list you on the new I-864 as that responsibility doesn’t end with divorce.

Red light didnt ruin your life.  Choices did.

Catch your snap.  You need to sit down with an immigration attorney, a good one, and listen to him or her read from the book.  You got a long road coming up and you got to pony up for both of you.  Big chance that road is a dead end.

Marrying before you’re caught puts you on a path to a waiver.  Marrying just after?  Man that looks bad.  That looks like marrying for immigration benefits.  This is a deeper hole than most of us can help you out of.  I hope y’all work out.

    That ain’t COVID.

Actions have consequences, and getting married won’t escape these.  Proving “extreme hardship” for a waiver isn’t easy and it isn’t quick.  Sorry bro.  Tough break.

There IS a waiver process but it’ll take awhile.

The validity of your former marriage is established at your approval step and his issue is going to be sponsorship of multiple immigrants as he still has to declare you as sponsored as well as his new friend.
    You have no issues.
Their conversation after her interview (unless he briefs her up front) should be pretty amusing - “household” size always comes up.

Cross that with the attitude?  This guy’s gonna need to see “Doctor Proctor” after the CO’s done with this case.

I’m telling you, If VJ allowed it, I’d love to be a moderator of a thread called “Tales of the Green Card” as @Lucky Cat (I believe) has coined them… and post screenshots of cases like these, so people would be better prepared for extra scrutiny.

I think everyone should be realistic about their case and look for weaknesses. On paper, our AOS application is very strong. We have known each other for many years. We have similar educational backgrounds and not that dissimilar financial situations. But we have a potential timeline issue in terms of when our relationship started and when my ex (who came in on a K1) and I were over. It is very easily explained, and I put in a letter explaining it. We're ready to talk about it at interview, even if it does bring up a lot of difficult emotions because we are willing to do what it takes to make this as easy as possible for them. What we should not do is hide our heads in the sand and expect it will all be good, and essentially say on here "good vibez only!!!"

There have been some relationships on here where I'm like... that got approved? But I assume it's because what we see here isn't the whole story. You get a chance to tell the whole story, so it better be a good one.

So an interesting question:  If she moved to (sunny utopia of) Pakistan would you be in a position to support her?  Better yet, can you support yourself?

Just to add, do not combine transcripts and W2s/1099s.  There have been cases where RFEs were issued when someone submitted transcripts and W2s/1099s asking for copies of the tax return/schedules that were filed.  The operative term is OR, transcripts or copies of a complete tax return with all schedules and W2s/1099s.  In our case, I used copies of the complete tax returns up to the ROC stage, then switched to transcripts with no issues.

    Good Luck!

Don't need a transcript if you provide a copy of your taxes plus W-2.

Two choices - tax transcript or tax return with all of the schedules and attachments (W2’s, 1099’s, etc)
By your reference to W2 I am assuming you are not self employed

If you were married for 2 years or more at the time you became a legal resident, then you should have received a 10 year card.  If USCIS made a mistake and if  you received a incorrect card, you will have to file an I-90 for a replacement.  An I-90 can be filed online.  At some point, they will ask for the incorrect card.
