This is for the people who have just sent the Green Card paperwork to USCIS🛂

Could you pls tell us if they ask you to have a new medical exam due to the new requirement that we must have a last dose of covid from no more than 12 months ago?💉

I hope not...because when I had the medical exam (8th November) the requirement was not in force so it wouldn't be fair if I had to redo the medical😥

My DS-3025 was marked as completed back then before this new requirement come

Thanks❤️

You have your visa in hand and will come end of January 2024

CBP no longer checks for covid

When u get here,  have the covid booster for your own protection/  its free

You're fine without having to do anything.

I disagree with what the previous poster said - boosters not needed :

ROC 2009
Naturalization 2010

If the DS3025 is marked complete, that's all you need.

You completed the requirements AS THEY WERE IN THE MOMENT IN TIME of your medical exam. Changes in the future to the requirements have no effect.

I don't think the question was about entry requirements, it was about requirements for the AOS filing.

My fiancé underwent the medical exam (in Spain) for the K-1 on November 30th: that same day he was informed that the regulations changed and the 3rd dose of a Covid Vaccine is now required for all immigrants to the U.S. DS3025 was marked as incomplete until he either received the 3rd dose in Spain (which he did a week later) or upon arrival in the U.S.

I believe if your medical was on or after a Nov 30, 2023, it will be required, but not before.

If you just submitted, unfortunately the USCIS won't "asking" anybody anything for many many many months.
