  1. Requests for initial evidence (e.g., I-864) generally come from service centers early in the intake process, usually the NBC in Lee's Summit, MO. Requests for additional evidence (e.g., medical RFEs for I-693) usually come from field offices during the actual adjudication process.
  2. Correct, that's the combo card. The case itself will not update and close until the card is produced - give it 2-3 weeks.
  3. Check the documents tab of the I-765 in the next 24 hours. Likely a combo card approval. Same thing happened to us a few weeks ago.
  4. Combo card approved this morning. Excellent news - they can take all the time they want on the GC now for all we care. 😅
  5. I have not. It seems like if you don't get an EAD approval shortly after biometrics, chances are you won't get it before your AOS gets approved.
  6. Not really. NBC has been flying through K1 AOS cases in recent months, many of which have the interview waived and don't even get sent to the field office.
  7. Possibly - is there anything in the documents tab for the 765?
  8. Lee's Summit is the National Benefits Center. I believe they process all EAD and AP cases, and also some AOS cases (which eventually get handed off to the local FO).
  9. Right, I agree with that. It's just difficult to get hard, clean data that we can extrapolate timing from.
  10. One limitation of these tracking tools is that the vast majority of cases captured aren't adjusting from K1, and as far as I'm aware there's no way to filter to just K1-to-AOS cases. So there's no way to really know what's "typical" for us, other than maybe going through posts and timelines here (which also has its own limitations and probably won't get you the most accurate sample).
  11. I don't think the question was about entry requirements, it was about requirements for the AOS filing.
  12. Interesting. Do you think that had anything to do with the fast turnaround time? In other words, does getting an early RFIE (or in your case, correcting a submission that would've otherwise resulted in an RFIE) effectively bump you toward the front of the line?
  13. Timeline so far: 11/28/2023 - Sent to USCIS 12/01/2023 - NOA1 12/09/2023 - Biometrics notice went out 12/11/2023 - Received all NOA1 and account access notices in the mail 12/12/2023 - Biometrics appointment (walk-in; originally scheduled for 12/28 when we would be out of town) 12/12/2023 - AOS and EAD cases changed to "actively reviewed"
  14. Sent in our packet this morning via USPS to the Dallas lockbox. Should arrive by Thursday. And now the waiting game begins...
  15. 16.5 months is more for the whole process end-to-end. The I-129F step is currently closer to 9-12 months. They've cut down significantly on the backlog since the start of the year.
  16. Approved after 397 days. What an amazing feeling. The finish line is in sight!
  17. The ratio of RFEs to approvals in 97000 is nuts. Coupled with the glacial pace of that range, it makes me think they're being adjudicated by an inexperienced officer who doesn't know what he/she is doing.
  18. At least your range is somewhat moving. Whoever is adjudicating cases from June 23rd is going at a snail's pace and sending more RFEs than approvals. Situation feels hopeless at times.
  19. Thank you so much for doing this. If it's not too much trouble, is there any chance you can add another column to the spreadsheet with Untouched %? Similar to what you have for Pending % but with RFEs stripped out. In other words, E/G rather than (E+D)/G. Would be interesting to see what that looks like for each range.
  20. 97000 looked like it was finally getting some love at the beginning of the week. And now we're back to nothing. Would be great to get some transparency on how cases are actually prioritized, but everything with the US government is a convoluted black box.
  21. 97000 range finally getting some action today after being mostly ignored. Just this morning alone we've gone from 9 approvals/RFEs to 18. Very reassuring!
