Hello my fellow 751 sufferers....My wife has a 751 pending since 09-15-2021. She was ambivalent about applying for citizenship. She is finally taking the N-400 plunge. For those of you that submitted the N-400 online how did you let USCIS know that there is a 751 pending so it can be pulled and routed with the N-400? Thanks as always...B.

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

You can include copy of I-751 receipt in N-400 submission and write a cover letter saying you want to adjudicate them together.

I uploaded a letter requesting a combo interview with wife's N-400 application.

We didn't know that we should add anything to the N400 application regarding I751.

During the N400 interview my wife told the DHS employee that we have I751 pending. Then she asked me couple of questions and we were done.

To the receptionist or the person interviewing?

To security. They're the first people we saw as we entered the field office. I wanted them to be sure they would let me in, since I wasn't essential for just the N-400 interview.

I wasn't allowed in regardless of the fact my husband had a pending I-751 at the N-400 interview. Didn't matter though - he got approved and they barely acknowledged the I-751.

I wasn't allowed in, either, so I was surprised then Neil came out and told me it was a combo interview. The IO came out with him and said that the one obstacle to her approving the I-751 was that she could see transfers from my personal account into our joint account. I had never sent them anything from my personal account because I thought it was irrelevant.  She wanted to see a statement from it before she would approve the ROC. She gave us 15 minutes to do it, and I downloaded it and emailed it to her on my phone! She replied by saying that she'll see us at the oath ceremony in a few hours! It was a hectic 15 minutes, but we chilled at Starbucks until the ceremony. What an exciting day!

I submitted mine on 12/12/2023 and got both NOAs(NOA1 and NOA2 for biometrics re-use). My I-751 is still pending but didn’t mention it on my filing. The status changed to actively being reviewed. Just can’t wait to get done with this process, but it’s also nice to see guys we started AOS with doing the same here. WE’RE CLOSE!!!
