I am currently pregnant, due to give birth in the spring. When filling out the I 864, I am wondering if I should put our household as 2 or 3?

That will depend on when you fill it out. Pre or post birth

It should be accurate as of the day you submit the I-864.   It can be updated later, if necessary.

Accurate on date of signing and submitting, but you do not "put" a total number.  You complete it correctly and it calculates the correct total.  Start by becoming and A-student of the I-864 instruction...AND...the form itself.

Yes, you would not count an unborn child as a household member.

We were approved by USCIS and sent off to the NVC. We filed the required paperwork and were documentarily qualified by NVC, now waiting for interview, but have since had a baby. 
 

Do we need to go back and add a household member? If we do so, our income doesn’t meet the minimum and we will need a sponsor. Will that paperwork again need to be qualified before we are scheduled?

You need to line up a joint sponsor.

 

If the baby was born outside the U.S.,

 

* assess whether was born a U.S. citizen.

* if so, get an appointment for a CRBA and U.S. passport at the consulate

* if not, ask NVC now to put the case back to NVC so that an I-130 can be filed for baby to get an IR-2 visa

i would assume Rebecca is the USC so was the baby born in the US?

2/  proof of US residency for joint sponsor

3/  copies of W2 and and 1099's

She was born here in Georgia, but we already have her CBRA and US passport. 
 

On the website it gives the option to add a household member, do I need to do that? Or just take these additional documents to the interview?

If you mean the "Add Household Member" button on the CEAC portal, do NOT do that.  Just bring the CRBA and possibly the updated I-864 form to the visa interview.  On the day of the interview, update the applicant's DS-260 form at the consulate to include your child's information.

Okay, so to be clear: My daughter was born AFTER our NVC documents were qualified, in the Republic of GE. She is a US Citizen with her CRBA and Passport already issued. With a 3-member household, I no longer meet the income requirement. 

 

So I need to: Update his DS-260, submit a new I-864 for the joint sponsor and all other supporting documents, and bring my daughter's CRBA and Passport TO THE INTERVIEW. I do NOT need to upload anything to CEAC, and I should NOT "add a household member". 

 

I asked an "immigration lawyer" through the JustAsk app I found here on VJ, and she said that I did need to upload all those documents AND add a household member on CEAC, but she also didn't know what a CRBA was...so I am not sure I have a lot of confidence. My gut is saying to bring things to the interview per your advice. But any thoughts on what she said? She mentioned that it wouldn't be a "full disclosure" if I wait until the interview.
