How to make photos for online N 400 ?

 Hi everyone ,

 

 I have a Samsung phone. How do i take the pictures of my supporting documents ( N 400 application ) in order to file online ?  Do i have to make them PDF files ? If so, how ?

I think they require pdfs.  There are plenty of on-line applications which will convert pictures (JPEG, etc.) to pdfs.

n-400 form itself is online. u dont need to take picture of the form and upload. u just fill it up on the website

if u are talking about the evidence, make it pdf. there's plenty of software for that from the android app

Personally, I take photos, then embed them into a PowerPoint or Word file and convert them to a PDF.

Word is a great tool for converting to pdfs.

Thx all! So, i make a photo of let's say of the GC. Then how do i make it pdf ? Maybe download on my laptop and then use a software ?

Download whatever pictures you want, open a new word document, insert them there (however many you want per page), click file, export, create PDF

Use Adobe Scan app from Playstore. You snap the photo from the app and it converts right into the pdf. No need to go through any softwares on a computer.

Is there a size limit to the photos ? 

So, how did you guys do it ? For ex, if you have a big rent agreement , i guess you only make a picture of the first and last page, right ? Same for utilities and so on.

Once you take a picture and you go to your photo gallery select the picture and choose the print option. Once there, you change the printer option to SAVE AS PDF.

I personally took just pictures of them and put it in, as my computer had issues the time I want to make pdf with and I didn’t know how to do it with phone and no worries, I plan to bring printed copy though to my interview just in case if they mention anything, only pdf I had were my taxes cuz I got them directly from the IRS website.

We can use our smartphone and app to take a selfie and/or using a tripod when it comes time to apply for the passport?

Just choose "print", then instead of choosing a printer you just choose "save as PDF" instead. No extra programs needed, super easy.
