@beloved_dingo @sarge @JenIEit is actually my 3rd day today since I got informed mail notification. I have not checked my mail box today. However, I am planning on sending an inquiry today if I do not get the mail by EOD today from USCIS.

Is there anything else I can do immediately to get the information about the mail today apart from sending a inquiry? (This is what I am planning to do if I do not get the mail by EOD today)

I do not want to miss this biometrics appointment date and time. How long after they send the mail for biometrics, do you actually have the appointment for biometrics?

Thank you!

We received a notice dated 8/19 that our biometrics got scheduled for 9/8. So you'll have a bit of time to get this sorted out before you miss your appointment.

Just called USCIS and it was a biometrics for next week.

Oh wow, that's great they were able to give you the information you needed. I know that when we did our biometrics we handed them the documents that were mailed to us -- will you be able to walk in to your appointment and provide your case number and get the biometrics without the letter (if it indeed never arrives.)?

I have requested a e-copy of the mail. I have not received it yet, they have said to wait 24 hours for me to get it in my inbox.

I didn’t knew that I can walk up to the application support center with only case number. I would leave this question to someone to answer, this is indeed a good question.

I've read in other threads where someone couldn't make their biometrics appointment and walked into the center without an appointment for that day and were able to get it done. I'm not sure if they had the papers from their original time though. Obviously it's best if you're able to attend at the scheduled time with the paperwork they expect!

Hope you receive the e-copy soon, definitely keep us all posted!

Yes it is true. The reason is they still can use your last biometrics as it was not to long since you had the last biometrics. I'm not sure of  the timeframe between biometrics, but yes it's true. You still must include the biometrics fee though and it is non refundable!
