Removal of conditions based on marriage

Hey everyone,

 

I’m preparing to submit my removal of conditions based on marriage, I have two questions and will be grateful for any advice.

 

1. can I arrange the pictures in an album or just in a sheet protector? I’m thinking of getting an album because we have so many pictures.

 

2. is the affidavit from two US citizens compulsory?

1.  Why not just scan and print on paper?  Do NOT send an album.

I agree with Crazy Cat, no album. Affidavits are not required and don't hold much weight. As long as you have plenty of other strong evidence, there is no need.

Thank you @Crazy Cat @Cathi so far I have the following evidence:

1. Joint tax transcript for 3 years 

2. child’s birth certificate 

3. joint bank statement for two years, we decided to have separate accounts in the third year because we were not able to surprise each other anymore, one people saw it in the alerts lol) 

4. life insurance for both of us 

5. Lease with both names for all addresses we have lived

6. Auto insurance 

7. health insurance

8. Family pictures from wedding, baby shower, baby dedication, trips both family and just my spouse and I.

9. Drivers license showing the old address for both of us, we moved almost a year ago and my spouse has not updated the new address

10. trips ( flights and hotel itinerary)

11. Rentals insurance 

12. cell phone plan 

13.the internet has just my name while the power bill has just my wife’s name.

That’s all I have for now.

Don't send an album, it will end up in the trash, or File 13 as it is called at the center. LOL. looks like you have a decent amount. Throw in copies of your vehicle titles and registrations if they are in both your names, and sams club or costco membership cards. Maybe some joint credit card statements.

Don’t send an album! It will end up in the trash as @Loren Y has rightfully said. Pictures are not really strong evidence. That being said, you can include 5 or 6 covering the span of your marriage and with different people. Scan them into a Word document, and then write a caption with the date, the event, and who was in it. That’s what I did.

Same as with the pictures, they are not compulsory if you have otherwise strong evidence. That being said, I did include two from my in laws, but I realized I didn’t notarize them, so I don’t know how good they are. I’m going to share what I included in my package to see if it helps, but mind you, my ROC Is pending.

Don't send many photos, pick out 4 and print them on regular paper. Photos are just secondary evidence that aren't important (anybody can take photos together, it doesn't prove much), focus on actual, real evidence instead. You already have a good list of better evidence.

Your evidences look good to Me, add car titles or car insurance if both have your names. As for pictures, I did not send in an album but I know I sent about 25 photos (in an envelope) , not sure about them being put in the trash, all I know is My ROC was approved without interview and I came with a CR1 visa, guess I did mine right!

One more question lol, I stapled my supporting documents (bank statements by months) to arrange it neatly. Is it okay to staple or do I need to print new ones. Thanks
