I was wondering how truly vast this underground place must be. Brings the final scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark to mind...

The fire prevention measure boggle the mind. They clearly can’t use water. Given their concerns about Covid risk to workers they can’t be using CO2.

So I am thinking halon. Must be worlds largest concentration of halon.

I'm failing to understand this. What exactly is the hold up? It's not like Covid is hanging out in some underground vault that barely sees visitors. Send out triple/quadruple vaccinated people who test negative. What's the problem? It's not like going into a hospital or clinic environment where there's a risk of contracting Covid in the physical space? Heck, people working in grocery stores and retail are probably at a higher risk of catching Covid than sending down a few tested people into the vaults.

Government efficiencies.  Whenever you depend on the government for something, you will likely be disappointed.  Just saying.

... and in this case, we have no alternative.

Woo-hoo Kansas City I guess.

I did finally receive my biometrics appointment update though, at least.

Still surprised that for all the big talk about the USA being so advanced, everything still has to be done in triplicate, and all government agencies/branches/sectors/divisions/bureaus/departments would still rather spend all their money on military-related anything over making internal processes efficient.

Does anyone have any update on this situation or know anything else? I've just been told that THIS is the reason why my case has not moved forward. (After 24 months, having had the interview and been approved and had one oath ceremony scheduled that I could not get to because I was back home with my grandmother in hospital). All they have to do is reschedule the oath ceremony. Have they not already seen all the paperwork at this point?

Pro tip from Reddit today.

If you have a reasonable belief that your case is stuck due to file retrieval from FRC / NARA then you can contact FRC directors by email. https://www.archives.gov/frc/directors lists all directors and their email addresses.
The claim is that someone emailed each director, explained the situation, and provided the A number.  To that person’s surprise one FRC director replied and had the file transferred to USCIS.  A “week or so later” the interview was scheduled.  The N-400 was approved at the interview.

The directors have been taken down off the website.  Do you think this could work for removal of conditions?

Would it be best to contact the Summit, MO one for ROC?

Visually it looks like the same link to me.  I agree that clicking the first produces a dead link and clicking  the latter works. Strange.

My number for the ROC starts with MSC

I believe the records discussed here are related to background checks which is a part of n400 but not typically an issue for ROC.

Have you reached out to your congressman? Some local offices also have a 1-2 yr backlog wait for interviews presently.
