You’re not going to find that. Between day 90 and day 1 there are 89 possibilities.

so is sending it 90 days before the gc expires your recommendation?

90 days or some days after

not, why not?

Seriously? I’ve said it already! Because if you mail it on day 92 and it unexpectedly arrives a day earlier than the 90 days, it will get rejected.

Human Beings make mistakes many people have had petitions rejected or worst got all the way to a interview and petition denied because they said "You filed to early" when it wasn't the case.

I’d love to see a single example of an I-751 filed 90 days before a conditional green card expired  that was denied for filing to early.

You are the one  who wrote file it 3-4 days early.  Your response “or some days after” is equivocal.

My question never asked about filing 92 or 91 days before the gc expired.

Last word is yours.  Over and out for me on this thread.

It was someone who posted in our I-751 group on Facebook went all the way to his N-400 interview and it was denied because it was 1 day early. Not the N-400 but I-751. It happens. I have seen a few rejected on day 90 day.
I do believe they go by mail date not receive date who knows.
People get denied everyday over stupid USCIS errors.

Hi! Firstable, I really appreciate anyone who passed by and leaves their comment, advice on this forum. I'm kinda in panic now because I dropped my I-751 package on 11/12 in ups, and my 90 day window opens is 11/13. However, the package is delivered and signed by one of the USCIS Phoenix officer on 11/15. Will they reject me?

Again thank you so much for your timing and advice! Wishing all the good luck on your application as well.

I honestly don't think that just because it was a day early that they are going to reject it.

Thank you so much, everyone!

Package was not delivered a day early. It was delivered two days after the window opened, so OP will be fine.

That being said, they can reject packages that are delivered one day early.

We sent our packet on 11/6 via UPS and it was received on 11/12 by a certain Lopez. We still have not received any text or email. Check has not been encashed as of this date. Can’t help but be anxious.

I told my husband to send it on the exact day, he just messed it up, and I was out of the town. Will the USCIS officer count those shipping days within those 90 days?Or is the 90-day window open the day the USCIS officer received the i751 package?

Yes. Uscis will processed on the date it was filled up and signed not when it was received. It will definitely be return back to you with no doubt.

Hi guys! Really appreciate for the response. I’ve been a bit busy lately. Anyway, I just wanna keep you update about my case in case someone needs help. My 90 days open window is 11/13. —As I said I downloaded and signed the 2 weeks early.

—I wrote the exact date 11/13 when I signed the form.

—My husband sent the package by mistake on 11/12. One day early the 90 days open window

— The package is delivered and signed on 11/15

— I received the text notification on 11/18

— I got the mail today 11/22 that my green card is extended for 24 months.
Again thanks for the reply and i wish you all the best of luck.

So I just checked my i751 case online  it is ready to be scheduled for interview. I filed February 8 2021. I received noticed for biometrics in August . Had my biometrics taken on August 24th 2021. And interview ready to be scheduled as of  11/24/2021. ( MSC). I was praying for my interview to be waived but I see I must go for interview. I seriously don't like interviews and I am very nervous. How did your interview go? How long did it take for your actual interview Date to be scheduled?

Someone else will likely be able to post a link to change in USCIS policy in 2018 or something, meaning virtually all of us who came here on a CR-1 (married to a US Citizen for less than two years on the day you were admitted to the US as a permanent resident) will face an interview. Some I-751 cases are routed to service centers that can recommend the interview to be waived (mostly people who already got an AOS interview), but CR-1s mostly go to MSC = interview scheduling.

And I don’t like the thought of people prying into my private matters, ie. asking how you met, sending financial records etc., but this is US immigration so it is what it is.

Having to go the interview is frustrating, but if you have a genuine marriage, you’ve got nothing to worry about. I think someone here had the stats that 95% of all I-751 cases are approved.

And even if someone isn’t happy with their initial evidence I-751, they can always present more evidence at the interview.

If you filed jointly, just remember to take your US citizen spouse with you to the interview 😅

Getting there, slowly but surely...  (I hope )

Together (well...mostly the Transatlanticism kind of together) Since 12/2013

CR-1:

Married in Sweden 8/2017
(Well Frontloaded) I-130 Sent 12/2017
CR-1 Approved 10/2018
POE LAX 01/11/2019

I-751:

I-751 Package Sent with UPS 11/11/2020
I-751 Received by the AZ Lockbox 11/13/2020
I-751 Check Cashed 12/31/2020
I-797 (with My Last Name Misspelled...) Received by Mail 1/2/2021

Biometrics Appointment Received by Mail...too bad I am in Europe right when it's supposed to take place 🤯 6/14/2021

Rescheduled Biometrics Appointment, the biometric technician can't change the misspelled name on file, but he enters the correct spelling of my last name as an alias 8/2/2021

Interview Ready to Be Scheduled 10/13/2021

(Two Days Later) Interview Was Scheduled 😱 10/15/2021

I-751 Interview, Petition Approved 🥳 11/19/2021

Case Status Changed to New Card Is Being Produced 11/19/2021

Case Status Changed to Case Was Approved 11/22/2021

Green Card Arrived in the Mail (Name Correctly Spelling, w00t) 11/27/2021

When USCIS Misspells Your Name:

Typographical error form filled on USCIS website 1/4/2021
Contacted USCIS if there has been any progress since THEIR error (Received a Tier 1 tracking number) 2/6/2021
Contacted USCIS again as the issue remains to be resolved (Received ANOTHER Tier 1 tracking number) 3/12/2021
Apparently USCIS chat is worthless; CALLED USCIS, Tier 1 agent promised that a Tier 2 agent would call me 4/28/2021
Received a call from a nice Tier 2 officer who said I may or may not get a correct extension letter, but just in case I would be scheduled an InfoPASS appointment 5/4/2021
Went to local USCIS service center and had to deal with a nasty and entitled customer service agent who refused to give me an I-551 stamp. National Benefits Center is supposed to mail me another I-797 within 7-10 days... So I had to waste my day, taking buses for two hours one-way just to deal with this lady's attitude? 5/7/2021

After anxiously monitoring our mailbox for a few days I DID receive a corrected I-797, w00t! All documents good to go Vaccinated Ready to visit my parents in Europe for the first time in 17 months!!  5/13/2021

The lesson: Don't use the chat for anything complicated, AND keep hassling USCIS for a response...
