lol I better get IL next week :( I was skipped twice

We're all rooting for you to get one! Sorry if I missed this earlier in the thread but have you been able to get a hold of anyone to help you escalate this? Others who have had this problem reached out to a state government representative (not sure exactly who) and seemed to be able to address the problem that way.

Hello!

it’s been 110 days since ai entered the US and no physical green card yet. I’ve been calling USCIS but the automated machine won’t let me talk to a customer service representative. Any tips? Or any idea what is happening? Thank you for your help.

I just crossed the border yesterday and the CBP officer said it could take up to 6 months for the green card to arrive

I reached out to NVC, they said you are in queue and will get IL once its your turn. You are not skipped, everyone's case is different lol i couldn't argue more. But thats the response they gave.

Say "lost receipt notice". It'll put you through to a person and they won't know the reason. I had to call them recently and that worked.

For context for everyone else reading: it's no longer a menu where you can select the reason why you're calling but a sassy robot that asks why you're calling and if you don't say the exact right thing (and "help" or "agent" are not the exact right thing) it'll warn you that it's going to disconnect the call and then will actually do so. It's the most infuriating thing to figure out.

I got a live agent through chat which was also effective.  The bloody Emma robot is really flipping annoying though, I must agree!

Hey there!

If an American became a permanent resident of Canada are they able to just move back to the US when they would like to? Is there anything that has to be done? I still am a US citizen

Thank you!
