Thanks for ur help i really appreciate.

Anytime.

Here's the myUSCIS log in page - https://myaccount.uscis.gov/

If he does not yet have a profile, he needs to create an account first.

Once you verify the service center, you can use the following page to filter on that service center, the beneficiary's country, and order by "I-130 NOA2 (NOA2 is approval or denial of the petition), select order direction as "DECENDING" and click on "Set filter". This will list the all the cases that were approved for your specific country and service center from the most recent to oldest. Looking at the I-130 NOA1 column (date when the case was received by USCIS) you can get the general idea of which priority dates are currently being reviewed and approved.

Other advice you could pass on to this couple you are trying to assist:

1.  more in-person visits, to do this the spouse in the US may have to visit Pakistan, save all evidence of these visits including original boarding passes, passport stamps, hotel receipts, other receipts to prove the time together, the more the better.  Submit this evidence at the NVC stage after petition approval.  Be ready for an RFE during petition approval if the Pakistani marriage certificates were not submitted properly with the I-130.

2.  do as much financial co-mingling as possible, such as adding the foreign spouse to a US credit card as an authorized user, file IRS tax returns as married jointly (via W-7 and ITIN), add the foreign spouse to USC's health insurance, and as a beneficiary on life insurance, retirement accounts, etc., do a will, living will, power of attorney, and submit all this evidence at the NVC stage.

Good luck to your friends!  Nothing but respect and best wishes to you all.

my parents case was in Nebraska so now it makes sense how they got approved so quickly.

I said her to join the group and she already did but i think i did wrong to say her to join. This group was such a help few yew years ago at my time but now full of toxic people.anyway even if they don't understand they should not pass bad comments like fraud country seriously. Everyone should respect others cultures and beliefs.
my question was just about processing time nothing else thanks for your help.

Pakistan Is a high fraud country. Just like Colombia, where there is a Visa Agent on every corner. No application needed, you will get A US green card, right from the agent in Colombia. He has issued many green cards For any country you desire. FOR A PRICE

OP, please don’t take it personal when we say that Pakistan is a high fraud country. It’s been researched, it’s not us saying it, and honestly by taking it personally you’re not helping your cousin. Again, I do apologize if I hurt you with my post, but all I was trying to tell you is how the officers might see it unless your cousin and their spouse build a stronger case. With more visits, adding her to the bank accounts, submit joint tax returns, etc. For the timing itself, it’s all over the place with USCIS; some I-130s are approved quickly and some are siting there for months. Nobody can tell, really.
And the major of the city can’t do anything. Only the congressman can inquire about a case status, but that’s pretty much it.

@Ammara make sure you are logged into the account. Just going to case status gives yo the basics. I pray something wasn't sent and missed. So ask the petitioner to log into his account.

I bet since they had a lawyer everything was going to them and they never logged into their account. The petitioner really needs to be proactive and look into this now.

Wish your friend the best.

@Ammara Dont listen to most of these people here, they are negative and dont have any constructive advice. They are assuming some things (i've dealt with them in other threads). I was in a similar boat (feb2020 trying to sponsor my wife), what i suggest is someone needs to call USCIS and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer. Tell them that the case is nearly at the 2 year mark and there hasnt' been any update. Even though it's within the 'normal processing time', it doesn't mean they can take 2+ years just to approve/deny a simple i130. If you dont get any updates, use the messaging system in the myuscis website (message is directly sent to a tier 2 officer). Explain the circumstance and add more evidence to your case. I urge you to contact them often. They will not take action on your case unless youre active. Message at least every 2 weeks and ask if there has been any updates/an officer has been assigned.

If the husband hasn't filed an i129f for a spousal visa (i suggest you look this up), do this asap (again, dont listen to these people about it being obsolete yada yada. It pushed USCIS to act on my case).
