Interesting opinions.  Vote harvesting is inherently a huge potential for fraud that can never be found.

The so called ballot harvesting part is less impactful.  The rule that discards a ballot without remedy if you go to the wrong precinct (the locations and precincts change even between elections) just smacks of voter suppression. The court found that these rules are to stay because there was no proof that voters of a protected class were targeted.

Still, Republicans have a losing hand.  They only get elected if fewer younger people show up.  The Remedy seems easy to me, create a platform that appeals to more people including young people and people of color.  There was a time when Republicans didn't lag in this area.

So young people like being gaslighted by regressive Democrats?

Some Republicans are fighting that as well.

Some?  Would that be the ones in France, or the ones in the Scandinavian countries?

A buddy of mine moved in an APT a few months before the election. He got two ballots in the mail for two different people. Nope no fraud potential there

It's Christmas every day!

Would be even better if they were conveniently pre-marked for the Democrats.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

A friend of mine, who has been in his house for years, received no less than 5 ballots; two for him and his wife, and three for strangers.  One of which had lived at that address somewhere around 20+ years prior.

But the reality is, none of it matters, when mass-mailing of ballots was allowed to happen.  It did more to hurt the integrity of the recent election than anything since the Civil War.

And here's some interesting FACTS coming out of Georgia:

What state do your friend live in that doesn't purge the voter roles

Many states and municipalities don't do that until they are forced to. My county was one of those counties that didn't do it until they were forced to by Judicial Watch, not to mention the whole state of CA.

Also the "For the People Act" would not allow states/counties to clean up their voter rolls.
