LIN Jan filer  - Green Card received!

It must be noted that we moved to a different state in Jan, and I changed the address through online portal.

Green card was indeed delivered to a new address! (I had little hope of that actually happening)

Congrats! I filed on the exact same date and have the exact same PD, only in 2022. So that means I’m looking at a year and some months. Did you file for citizenship?

Husband had combo interview today and was approved.  Pretty easy for the I-751 part of the interview - just asked basic info from both of us and our relationship timeline.  Brought a lot of documents but the officer didn't need to see them as she had everything from the N400 as well.

03/19/19 AOS approved

01/21/2021 I-751 filed, EAC

2/2/2022 N-400 filed

2/2 biometrics reused

2/28 combo interview scheduled

4/11 interview rescheduled

4/19 interview scheduled

6/3 combo I-751/N-400 interview. recommended for approval.

6/6 i-751 approved, naturalization oath scheduled

6/24 oath ceremony

I am very happy to be done with my immigration journey!

I had a combo interview and went with my husband and toddler. The officer was super friendly and told us she usually separates couples but wouldn't separate us because she had already reviewed our file. She asked me for my husband's birth and full name, and she asked my husband to confirm my birth date and our mailing address. She approved the I-751 and then proceeded to the N-400. I asked her if she didn't want to see any the evidence we had. She told me that what I had originally submitted was more than enough, "and this precious baby's birth certificate was all I needed to see". The I-751 did not even take 5 minutes and I think we were done in under 30 minutes.

All in all, I'm glad I filed for citizenship when I did. I'm not sure if it caused the I-751 to be approved faster or if it slowed it down but now I don't have to worry or deal with USCIS again.

Good luck to all!

Congrets! Did the officer asked any other questions beside the date of birth and mailing address? Glad to know that we can take baby to the interview. How about  N 400 interview? would you mind sharing what they asked in that interview?
