Time to start rioting in the streets.

Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize by Norwegian official, citing Israel-UAE peace deal

EXCLUSIVE: Just weeks after helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), President Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.

The nomination submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, lauded Trump for his efforts toward resolving protracted conflicts worldwide.

“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of Parliament who also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, told Fox News in an exclusive interview.

So he was nominated by the same right wing politician as last time? Okay. And of course this is for the 2021 Peace Prize, a lot of time between now and then.

Anyone can be nominated by an eligible nominator, of course. I just looked at the archives for nominations for the Peace Prize and saw Margaret Sanger was nominated over 30 times.

Obama was nominated, still brings a chuckle.

He won, and he shouldn't have. I thought that was massively dumb at the time and showed a particularly wrongheaded European misreading of what was going on here. I still think it was dumb.

But he did and now the Nobel Peace Prize is nothing more than a participation award.  Trump will not win it, heck, he could even facilitate global peace and he still would not win it or get any acknowledgement from those on the Left as well as the activist media.

So if he will not win it, and it is only a participation award, why should it be seen as anything more than a stunt or anything he should be proud of?

I don't know his mind, so I don't have any idea if he even cares.  Are you suggesting there was some sort of collusion?

Lol, wrong thread.

No, I don't see any collusion here. I just don't know why we should care at all or why this should be touted as being an achievement if it isn't.

So facilitating or at the very least helping out the peace process in the Middle East is not an achievement?

I'm proud of you.  You spoke your mind about what you don't like about an elected leader, regardless what any of us might say about your opinion.  Good on you.  I tend to agree with your assessment, except I am unsure what the bold part refers to?

Obama won it less than 8 months into office for for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people". It's a joke. Who cares. Yasser Arafat one of the most notorious terrorist ever won it. One again its a joke

Being nominated doesn't mean much. Hitler and Stalin were both nominated.

Obama winning was just asinine. US forces were involved in conflicts every year that he was in office. I'm not sure any other 2 term president has ever "accomplished" that. It's shouldn't be an award for talking a good game, but it seems like that is what it became.
