I am a U.S citizen and the 1-30 petition for my wife(Mexican national)  has been approved but has not been transferred to the NVC.  It has been more than 4 months. I contacted the USCIS and they told me to wait 30 days because they escalated the case to a supervisor. Has this happened to anyone before and what else should I do?

Little back story, my wife has been here since she was 3 years old and has had DACA since she was 17 years old.

Words matter.  "accepted" does not equal "approved".

Also I am not clear how DACA works, but for the i-130 if she lives in the USA,  she would not be sent to the NVC.

Unless she was planning on returning to Mexico to attend the interview there.   But again, I do not know if DACA can leave and re-enter on CR1/IR1, or if there is another step required there.

That attachment is not an approval notice.  Did you mean to attach something else?

Usually the case becomes closed at USCIS when it is approved and it reverts to an earlier message as the one the OP posted. I'm pretty sure that was the same update shown after my case was approved and went off to NVC

It would be good to get some clarification though.

Here is the approval notice 53E6DF22-0D16-4A6A-B83F-A490D0DA12D8.thumb.jpeg.11c3df8d383a39b1b93c4837a85866ad.jpeg

If your beneficiary is outside USA, it should go to NVC. We had different petition back in the day, (follow to join) and it took 7 months between approval and NVC case file creation. No amount of calls to USCIS or NVC had helped.

Hopefully, yours reached NVC by now. Good luck,

11-20-2019 - mailed docs to NVC

12-20-2019 - DS-260 done

01-28-2020 - NVC DQ-ed

08-04-2020 - US Embassy notified us - not eligible for a follow -to-join immigration route anymore. Spouse has naturalized. Advised to re-start the process with I-130 😯

"2 heart attacks" and a month later....

09-08-2020 - applied online I-130

09-09-2020 - NOA1 sent out
