I received my 18 month extension , and on August 25th fingerprints were waived but I haven't seen any progress since then.

 

My timeline for reference:

7/27 - Package sent.

7/31 - Package received.

8/10 - CC Charged for $680.

8/17 - Received I-797 NOA with 18 month extension (Notice date 8/10) - Also says "Notice Type: Receipt Notice".
8/25 - Fingerprints applied to my case.

Mine is EAC too. No updates since august

 

here is timeline:

7/06/20 -  Application mailed

7/09/20 - Application received

7/23/20 - Check was cashed

7/24/20 - Text/Mail notification

8/01/20 - Received NOA

8/04/20 - Fingerprints were taken(online update)
8/11/20 - Received NOA, stating that previously captured fingerprints were used.

1/12/21 - Application submitted online; Application received.

1/13/21 - Received IOE electronic receipt notice via email; Biometrics walk-in; Case status changed to "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS."

1/19/21 - Received paper receipt notice in the mail.

1/22/21 - Received email from USCIS that a new receipt notice will be issued due to an error on the previous one.

1/26/21 - New receipt notice posted on my online account. 
2/01/21 - New receipt notice arrived in mail. 

2/11/21 - Called for an update on my case and was told file is in local office.

2/19/21 - Case status changed to Interview scheduled.

2/22/21 - Interview notice posted on my online account.

2/26/21 - Received paper interview notice in mail.

3/16/21 - Biometrics Reuse notice posted online.

3/26/21 - Received biometrics reuse notice in mail. 

3/30/21 - N-400 approved; Same-day oath ceremony.

Biometrics appointment letter arrived 6 months after filing I751. Apparently uscis are no longer reusing prior biometrics.

 

With my biometrics appointment letter arriving 6 months after filing, I should probably add 6 months to my expected timeline?

 

Fair to assume no processing took place prior to submitting biometrics?

I just got this alert 🚨 “On December 9, 2020, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number ”

 

is this good or bad news ?

I am sure it is good news. Sometimes they transfer to other service centers and sometimes they transfer it to you local office.

 

Wherever it’s going, it means that there is at least some movement.

Still waiting on California to step their game up and start sending out biometrics appointments or waiving biometrics at least. Lol. 
 

So I just found out that members of the military (like myself) are able to go to an ASC and get their biometrics without needing an appointment. Should I go this route? 
 

I know the 751 instructions state that we “might” have to submit biometrics. Should I go my nearest ASC and get them completed?

Can it be?! I just got an email about new card in production!! 🤗

 

27th July: Sent via Fedex to TX

30th July: Fedex notification of receipt 

5th August: $$ taken from account 

6th August: USCIS text with receipt #

17th August: NOA letter received (TX service centre) 

21st October: case transferred to SRC

10th December: New card in production

I have a feeling this will still be relevant next year same time lol. I have no problem with it but wouldn't want to deal with second extension letter...
