Hi, Thank you for your kind reply and sharing your time line. My wife's  Roc received 7/24/20 , NOA 8/11/2020 and since then no response , she is so anxiously waiting every single day because she want to travel and infopass is denied , when she should expect? can we call USCIS to expedite Biometrics?

Is there a reason why you need infopass? She has the NOA and that covers her for travel.

She can travel and won't need an info pass. The NOA will serve as a proof of her residency. If she's going to travel she should bring her greencard (even if it's expired) and the NOA with her at all times. She will only need an info pass if the NOA is about to expire and she still has not received her 10yr green card.

Hi, thank you for your reply , no particular reason , only she was concerned that airline might give her some hard time with Expired Green Card and the Extension letter while boarding from Karachi, our Attorney also scared her and insisted not to travel without Biometrics done that is why we called USCIS to get her passport stamped , just be on the safe side. Now we cancelled our trip till 3rd week of January.

The airline should reference the CBP Carrier Guide, which clearly states expired GC with Extension Letter is sufficient: https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2019-Mar/2019 Carrier Information Guide - ENGLISH.pdf

Please be informed that infopass will not be given for travel if your extension letter hasn’t expired. It is only given when your letter of extension expires and that too for emergency cases like when you need when changing to new employer etc. The biometrics can be postponed in case you are out of country.

for any queries regarding traveling with extension letter refer to:
