Minnesota Protests Show Some Things Are More Important Than 'Stopping The Spread'

MAY 29, 2020 By David Marcus

Over the past two months Americans have been ordered not attend mass gatherings for fear of spreading the Chinese virus.  For the most part people have complied.  Our ball fields, churches, bars and concert halls sit empty.  When some have flaunted the rules as recently happened at a massive pool party in Missouri, they have been severely chastised.  So how should politicians and the media handle protests throughout the country that break the large gathering rules?  [...]

Life is going to be much tougher for any genuine leader trying to stop an outbreak because of this TDS-related crying wolf. These shutdowns and regs are clearly a political stunt aimed at harming Trump (as well as power grabs), believing that such economic chaos is going to look bad on him, and thus hurt him in the 2020 elections.

Many folks in MI have clearly stopped listening to our Governor.

As to the protesters in Minneapolis, apparently getting some new electronics is more important than the ChiVi.

Exactly what I said in the local politics FB page. The people. That were loud and proud about how the reopen protests are stupid and how the cretins at the local speedway should all get Covid19. Which the speedway actually ended up making National news.

The people are posting about how the reopen protests were violent "because they all had weapons of war" when nothing happened.

One wonders if this protest is more than just about police brutality.  Governors and mayors have oppressed many, and these protests may have deeper meanings.

Anarchists, activists, and white supremacists don't really have a deeper meaning outlook on life. They're coming to burn, kill, and destroy.

What's weird is the narrative I am seeing from many different sources basically equating the violent white rioters with "far right or alt-right protestors". So why would a alt-right guy be in the same protest with BLM? Not to mention they are leaving out Antifa

It’s all about politics.  The Democrat leaders in Minnesota want to claim that white supremacists are part of and even pushing the violence so they can run cover for their leftist fascists that are really doing the damage.

A last, desperate attempt to blame things on Pres. Trump.

The violent protestors seem to be more white stoners than anyone else.

Well anarchists want to obviate the state. That would be their deeper meaning and actually knowing a few anarchists, I know in principle they oppose any damage to private property, but they think burning down police stations  (since cops are agents of the state) is just fine and dandy.
