Mine, too, actually. But, I’ll admit, I don’t believe anything on that channel or CNN.

Not much has changed here, although we don't have our cleaner in any longer (though I am paying her) and I have to do deep cleans of the kitchen and bathrooms. Also I have to fold the fitted sheets, which I detest, but I am doing it after being tempted by a pickup/dropoff laundry service. Alex still pretty much only takes out the trash. And of course I do the vast majority of the cooking, though he is being more helpful these days, chopping things for me and at least convincingly pretending to pay attention when I show him how to cook things. No, I'm being cruel, he is paying attention. I think.

Frustrated because I was getting ready to go back to work when the pandemic hit. I did housewife before and I'm kind of over it.

Sadly there has been very little media coverage of those suffering without their usual domestic help. They need more recognition of the sacrifices they have made.

You do know I read him these things and it only encourages him. I have to deal with his ego inflating. But he knows this is an equal partnership and we contribute in the ways we can, while being open to learning new ways to balance the load. :)

A quick ToS reminder, English only in the upper forums, any other languages are OK in the regional forums.
