I just had my interview in Phoenix, AZ and everything went super smoothly. Approved on the spot. My husband came in with me and we stayed together the whole time. The officer that assessed my case was

I also used the version that expires in 2021, the one that was online when I re-did the forms! 

 

Mine was accepted, - texts received and my check was cashed.  And this was after two rejections!!! Stay calm everyone!

This happened to someone in the March filers for AOS and I'm pretty sure she submitted her application before the 2021 version was released. 

It's so frustrating when people are getting rejected for this reason when the 2020 and 2021 version seem identical and have the same edition number. 

 

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope other April filers get a nicer USCIS officer assessing their cases. 😓

mailed USPS certified to Chicago Lockbox 04-03-20

Arrived and signed for (USCIS stamp) 04-08-20

have not heard anything back, no credit card charge

sent email to lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov 04-27-20 with no response

called USCIS contact center 1-800-375-5283 (wasn't sure what menu options to select) and was told all the field offices and processing centers are closed until 06-04-20 and I  will just have to wait...

...should we refile?

Hello everyone!

 

Looks like we are right on the cusp of being April filers. After weeks of tackling the dreaded I-944, we FINALLY managed to get everything together and will be able to mail our applications (I-485, I-765, I-131) tomorrow morning. 

 

We are leaning towards mailing it via USPS. If we end up using Priority Mail Express, we should still send it to the PO Box address and not the 131 South Dearborn address, right?

I just read the thread and started to panic about the rejection due to outdated forms. I guess a lot of us are in the same boat. It’s ridiculous, to be honest.

I've come with good news. I just got my texts AND I used the 2021 version of the I485.

 

Filed: April 21st

Received lock box: April 23rd

Received texts (I only received 3, not 4):

April 29th 9:19pm

 

So they are definitely accepting the 2021 version of the I485 for applications received recently.

 

I really hope others get their texts tonight too.

I got the text for my wife I-485, I-765, I-131 about 5 minutes ago 

 

Package sent- 04/21/2020

Package delivered - 04/22/2020

Recieved date on 04/22/2020 from the case status

Form Filed - Expired date 2021 Version

 

Waiting for the NOA1 to be sent to me

Yes, if you file through USPS send to the PO Box address.
