Q1 - Yes according to the Greenbaum Times, you can begin to complete the DS-160 and submit the same.

Q2 - The letter will have your NVC number.

Q3 -  Follow the embassy instructions for scheduling your appointment as your embassy does not schedule the appointments.

The following are required for the visa interview.
1.    Fill out the online DS-160 visa application form by following the instructions at https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/. Print and keep the DS-160 confirmation barcode page for submission on your day of interview.
2.    Visa Application Fee: $265 or its equivalent in Ghana Cedis must be paid at any branch of Guaranty Trust Bank in Ghana. Be sure to keep the payment receipt number. This fee is non-refundable.
3.    Schedule the interview: You must schedule your visa interview appointment by following the instructions at http://www.ustraveldocs.com. You will need your payment receipt to schedule the interview.
4.    International Passport: Your passport must be valid for at least six months past your planned date of arrival in the United States.

Your overthinking the process.

Yes I have a tendency to do that! 😀 Thank you so much!

In addition to the K1, there are two K2s. Therefore, I need to complete separate DS-160s for them too, correct?

Yes. Everything thing triple's. Ouch. I feel your pain. I had a K-1 and two K-2's. I was glad I was rich at the time. Here is some additional information for your interview preparatins.

Ghana P3

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H86IKV5BUvN1Kkwtj8Z7ccbYLVdNu5P0/view?usp=sharing

VJ Thread for those processing in Ghana where you can ask questions of others

Average wait time from when embassy receives the application is 6-8 weeks.  Average time to be sent to Ghanaian embassy from NVC is 1 month.  Therefore applicants should expect 3 months from NVC till receiving the P3.  Interview slots are very limited for this embassy, so it is advised for applicants that believe that they are a "strong applicant" to proactively schedule their interview date three months out to secure a date and time.

Do you have packet 3 for UAE? Thanks 😇😊

I'm assuming this is being asked of me to provide the P3 for UAE?

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

You should go to your sub-forum website here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/ and here is a recent thread for some who are processing a K-1 and their recent experience (see below).

Also, more info here from your portal http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

@Nette1

Here's a some tricks to use when answering and wanting to quote someone.

First, when you use the quote button, go into a LONG posts that you are quoting and if there isn't a need to have the entire post, just delete a small portion of it, but leaving enough of the original post so we can understand what you are replying to.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1krDA5e93LXA3JbzBl8Zo-pvBjpNlLJam/view?usp=sharing

Second, you can use the "@" sign in a blank reply box then begin typing the person's nick to bring up a list with their name, and select their name. If it is done right you should see a blue box around their nick like this @Greenbaum. When you use the @ sign you would use it in a blank reply and not a "+" reply.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MDRnqzVsqYuInL1iSIyuxaMOj52yDAxb/view?usp=sharing

Third is just to use the "heart" icon and select "thanks". Don't really need to say thanks in a quote. (using your example you were making a comment and a thank you so they way you presented yourself is fine.

I'll be honest, I have been trying to avoid reading about the delays that COVID-19 is causing right now because it causes me a lot of anxiety. But now that we are soon on to the part that is directly affected by that (setting up medical and interview) I am wondering if someone could provide a little information? Are we still seeing cases being forwarded to NVC and then to the Embassies? Are things on hold? Appreciate any information. I know that no one here has a crystal ball to see into the future!

The only movement we are seeing is NOA2 approvals. USCIS workers are working from home. NVC and Embassies not much from them, embassies nada, zip and zero.

Ok, I suspected nothing from the Embassies but wasn't sure about NVC. I wanted to know how "urgently" I should begin collecting the documents needed for the interview but seems I can take a little breather. Thanks!

also - i wanted to share that i went to the american embassy's website (in Zagreb) and according to their twitter page, many employees continue to work from home and the embassy has  "canceled routine nonimmigrant visa appointments" , which i assume means that immigrant visa ARE being processed?

K-1 is a non-immigrant visa but is treated like a immigrant visa as it has it's own special category and is adjudicated differently. I'd be careful in assuming something. Do you have a link to a governmental agency that is advocating what you have just reported? I'd like to see it if you don't mind sharing it with me. Thanks.
