Not sure if you have heard of this, been in the news.

https://nypost.com/2020/02/14/black-student-erupts-over-too-many-white-people-at-uva-multicultural-center/

The footage, which has gone viral on social media, shows an unidentified student of color at the 16,000-student public research university in Charlottesville giving what she dubbed a “public service announcement” to other students sitting nearby.

“Excuse me, if y’all didn’t know, this a [Multicultural Student Center] and frankly there’s just too many white people in here and this a space for people of color,” the young woman said. “So just be really cognizant of the space that you’re taking up because it does make some of us POCs uncomfortable when we see too many white people in here.”

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I think Trump will beat Bloomberg in a landslide. His history is just absolutely horrible and I think it will play out just as bad, if not worse, than Hillary's emails... I think Biden and Bernie have a chance if they play their cards right in certain states. The midwest will be key and from my time that I lived in Ohio, although a lot of people still did like trump, at least anecdotally, I heard a lot of people complaining Trump did not deliver on his promises to restore the region. Specifically union jobs. My father in law voted for him to give him a chance in 2016, and him and his buddies were telling me that they are going to sit the next vote out potentially, but especially will not vote for trump, as they do not trust him anymore. They said he was a "jackass" and did not like how big of a mouth he had specifically, among other things lol.

If someone may be able to promise and actually backup their claims in the midwest (where Bernie or Biden could potentially be viable in certain states), maybe there is a path to victory for those two. And I think those two, or at least their campaign, is smart enough to go there, and not neglect it like Hillary. Biden's downfall is he cannot speak very well anymore. Bernie has the socialist label, but its not like Trump doesn't have a "loudmouth" and "unprofessional" label

The biggest issue Bloomberg will have is from within, a Billionaire  Republican

with some very dodgy non progressive views.

Dodgy and non progressive, no wonder Trump is afraid of him eroding his base.

Trump and bloomberg have a lot of similarities, I think its insanity if the dems prop him up as the nomination after all they have been saying all these 4 years. But I would not put it past them after the whole dnc scandal of 2016. I think Bloomberg is worse than trump in a lot of ways personally.

I don't think you can be over-racist which sounds like there is an acceptable degree of racist. Any degree of racist is unacceptable. I mean, I can't even think of a place where being under-racist is acceptable because no-racist should be the default setting.

Overt racism.  Another auto-korek loss.

Just my 2c, but if there is a Democrat who can get people to turn out like Obama did, it might be a race. I'm not sure that person exists ATM though. Bloomberg has a chance, but he is not really going to get anyone excited. I don't think Bernie has a large enough base to pull it off, and I don't think he pulls in enough support when other candidates drop out. I think Democrats may stay home again if Biden wins too. Warren is going in the wrong direction and Butt is trending up, but they both seem like long shots right now.

A lot hinges on whether the Democrats come together after the primaries, or if they self destruct again. It's hard to predict that part. I really didn't think  the Republican party hierarchy would give Trump the support they did in 2016 after he made fools of so many of them in the primaries, but I think they realized there were bigger issues at hand.

Everything hinges on whether they come together after the nominee is named.  If someone actually wins on the first ballot, there is a better chance, but if this ends up in a brokered convention, all bets are off.

One big difference, Trump does not tell people how they should live.  Bloomberg wants to impose more taxes on the poor since they cannot be trusted to make good decisions with their money, like how much they spend on soda or unhealthy choices, etc.

Brokered would seem most likely.

I agree. I think bloomberg is also pretending to be something he is not, and apologizing for all the horrible things he has done. Which is obviously too little too late. I don't remember trump doing anything so horrible before holding office

One of the biggest things that Trump has ever done was when he claimed that some people coming across the border are rapists and murderers. Which the media ran with and spliced to make it out like he said that all Mexicans coming across are Murderers and Rapists.

The 2nd biggest thing was after the Charolettesville protest he claimed that there were "some good people on both sides"

One of Trump's biggest issues is not being able to hire the right person for the job. Kind of strange given his background. I think that has been a big setback for him at times, contributing to the difficulty the administration has had getting things done at times, and it's really inexplicable.

Would you want to work for him?

I would love to be one of the Active Deputy Directors..... But obviously after how much scrutiny people have gotten for working in his administration I would think twice before becoming a Director of something
