I was wondering would it be ok if me and my fiance marry right after interview while i am there, before we travel back to the U.S. on a K-1 visa? Or will we have a problem at port of entry?

Maybe you missed this, but the K-1 visa is specifically for marrying within the US.

K1 is for fiancees, if you marry you will need to file for a Cr1.

We already filed for k-1 but want to marry in his country before we leave to the US. Right after he is approved.

Using a K-1 visa to enter when you are married is fraud. Any benefits (i.e. a green card or even naturalization) can be revoked when they find out. Do not do this.

Then you will need to file the Cr1 to obtain an Immigrant Visa.

Also, how would you marry in the US within 90 days when you are already married? You would need to lie on the marriage license application. None of this plan makes any sense.

K-1 is non-immigrant.

If you marry before he uses the visa, it voids the conditions of the visa.  Don't do it.

If you wanted to get married in his country, you should have applied for a spousal visa.

We didnt want to originally, but i just thought we could do both before we leave.

Really??  So the whole "marry in the US within 90 days" etc just went right over your head?

I was really just filing the quickest way possible. But anyway i have changed my mind. I'm convinced its not a good idea.

So you're going to marry and file for the CR-1?
