I did not receive any letter and I did not see my documents online. I will check today.

I checked my account today. Under my uploads I do see a part 1 of my documents that were uploaded on November 19th which was one day after my account acceptance. However, I cannot open the link. I tried to convert the tif document to a pdf document and it couldn't be done. I think it's for security reasons. I have sent them a message through my account portal.

I was able to open my documents on a PC. For some reason Mac computers don't support tif documents. I only see 25 images uploaded which starts with my passport photo. I do not see my 1-130 or 1-130a. Maybe that's why it says Part 1.

Hello my name is charease they received my 1–130 on November 12 how long it take to get a approval letter

Depends on what service center you get assigned to. Depending on service center, anywhere from 6-12 months. Keep in mind, an approved I130 is not an approved visa; there will still be NVC and interview stage after the I130 is approved still, so keep patience. This process takes on average 12-18 months and it's not getting any shorter

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

I have the same issue. On my PC I see 25 pages as well, but they are scans of my WhatsApp conversations and our joint account bank statement only. That’s it. I’m not sure why those particular pages are showing up and nothing else. I did write them a message through the portal asking about this, they responded that my particular question has to be answered by the Texas service center where my file is, so they have forwarded my message to them. I am still waiting, although it’s only been a few days.

Hi all! Also a November filer here! My husband is the petitioner, and he did it online. We got our NOA1 about 3 days later. Have been assigned to the Texas Service Station.

He has noticed the date change from 11/27/19 to 12/03/19... we are just wondering why this might be? Does that mean our account had been ‘looked at’ perhaps?

Now the waiting starts 🙂

Unfortunately very unlikely; Usually all it means is that your case has just been "touched", aka probably just updated something in the system or something of the like, it's still at the back of the line. It's very common for cases to get an "update" or two very soon after the received date, but then it's radio silence the next months after that

When you get a response, can you update me on here? My application is also with the Texas service center.

All I130s are now IOE receipts since around July-August. You won't know what service center your petition was sent to until your husband gets the paper notice in the mail

Yes The I-797C, it should say either on the paper or on the envelope what service center it is at
